ILNP The Road to Awe

*Purchased by me*

Hi polish lovers! My birthday was Sunday and I have a look at my birthday mani for you today. My birthday was Sunday, but I'm still wearing this now- it's so pretty! ILNP The Road To Awe has color-shifting flakies in an array of fall hues. These flakes change from purple and wine to copper and gold, and I even see some hints of blue and green. Their true beauty wasn't showing up in the sun, so I took these pictures in the shade, sorry for the dim lighting.

This is two coats of The Road to Awe over OPI Skating on Thin Ice-land. I thought this combo would be great, but I'm not sure it really allowed the flakies to pop. Either a lighter or way darker color (like black) might have been better. In any case, it was easy to apply!

*Purchased by me*

ILNP The Road to Awe is available now on ILNP.com. The holiday ILNP pre-order is coming soon, are you eyeing anything? I want the rose gold one, Juliette, I think it's called!

ILNP Spiced Eggnog Swatches!

*Purchased by me*

Whew, sorry guys, I'm not sure where the last few days went, but they obviously didn't go towards blogging! I finally have a post for you today and it's a good one. ILNP Spiced Eggnog is an eggnog colored creme with scattered holo shimmer, rusty orange flakes and gold flakes. This really is exactly the color of eggnog, a pale yellow tinged off-white. The scattered holo bits look really nice mixed in with the flakes (check it out below, slightly blurry for maximum emphasis on the holo shimmer!).

This is three coats of Spiced Eggnog. I did need the three coats, as this wasn't super opaque. But I think the flakes would get lost if this was more opaque, so I'm OK with this. The formula was great, very easy to apply.

ILNP Spiced Eggnog is available now on ILNP.com with the rest of the fall collection!

ILNP Mountain View

*Purchased be me*

I have another polish from ILNP Fall for you today! ILNP Mountain View is a blue spruce green jelly with scattered holographic pigment and metallic bronze flakes. The base is a dark green with blue undertones. The holo pigment doesn't really make that super linear flame, but it does add lots of beautiful rainbow sparkle.

This is three coats of Mountain View. It does start pretty sheer, but builds up by the third coat. I think if it wasn't kind of jelly-ish, the bronze flakes would get lost in the base color. In the sunlight, I did notice it looks patchy in places, so next time I will try to apply it completely evenly. It was a little thinner feeling than I'm used to with ILNP's polishes. It did keep trying to flood my cuticles, so don't load up the brush too much!

ILNP Mountain View is available now on ILNP.com!

ILNP First Class

*Purchased by me*

I got my ILNP Fall collection pre-order! Woohoo!! I couldn't decide which beautiful polish to swatch first, so I closed my eyes and picked one at random.  I ended up picking ILNP First Class to show you today! First Class has rich silver metallic flakes and a strong linear holographic flame in the sunlight. In the shade and dim lighting, you notice the super sparkly flakes. They are really blingy and kind of a cross between light silver and a bit of a gunmetal silver. In the sun, you get to see the holographic flame. I like the below picture because you can see the flakes on half the nail and rainbow on the other half! It's crazy how different it looks it different light.

This is three thin coats of First Class. It was opaque in two and I would do two if I were wearing it, but sometimes three is best for photos with this kind of polish. The formula was great, very easy to apply and had a great consistency!

The ILNP Fall collection will go on sale on October 2nd on ILNP.com, are you eyeing anything? I also got Spiced Eggnog, Mountain View and The Road to Awe. Which one would you like to see next?

ILNP Fall Semester

*Purchased by me*

Well the fall dance semester is now in full swing for me and fall semesters all over have now begun. So it seems appropriate to wear ILNP Fall Semester! Fall Semester is a deep teal holo. It's a darker, jewel-toned teal, rather than a brighter summery teal. In comparison to ILNP's Ultra Holos, Fall Semester has a much weaker linear flame for sure, almost more like a scattered holo. In the brightest sunlight, you can catch more of a true linear holo look. It's gorgeous in any lighting, but not the most blindingly holographic polish ever.

This is two easy coats of Fall Semester. I really have had great experiences with ILNP's formulas all around. They are really great to apply.

ILNP Fall Semester is available now on ILNP.com. Did you pre-order anything from the new ILNP fall collection? I got First Class, Mountain View, Spiced Eggnog, and The Road to Awe. I want a couple of others, but I'll have to behave myself for now and wait for them!

ILNP Honor Roll

*Purchased by me*

Well the kids are back to school, so I thought it was time to break out ILNP Honor Roll. Honor Roll is a stunning navy in ILNP's Ultra Holo formula. The Ultra Holo polishes are super intense holos and have a gorgeous strong linear flame. Depending on the lighting, this looks like a slightly brighter cobalt or a darker, more navy leaning blue. I am always a fan of navy polish and navy + holo= LOVE!

This is three thin coats of Honor Roll. It was very easy to apply. I love the formula of ILNP's holos, they are never patchy or streaky, just nice and easy to work with.

ILNP Honor Roll is available on ILNP.com. ILNP's fall collection is also going to be available for pre-order on September 4 and it looks delicious!! I see a bunch I want!

ILNP Walking Home

*Purchased by me*

Gahhhh!! Look at that holographic beauty!! ILNP Walking Home is one of ILNP's newer "Ultra Holo" polishes and it definitely is supremely holo in the sun. Walking Home is a lovely jewel-toned grape juice purple, with hints of blue. It is intensely holographic in direct sunlight, but you can still see the holo indoors in all but very dim lighting.

This is just two coats of Walking Home. It was so easy to apply, I didn't even do clean-up for these swatches. This is from the ILNP summer 2015 Ultra Holo collection. I was going to wait until fall to wear it, as I tend to like brights and neons in the summer, but I think I'm too in love to wait! Plus, it looks so amazing in the sunlight, I think I need to wear it on a really sunny day!

ILNP Walking Home is available now on ilnp.com.

ILNP Cameo

 *Purchased by me*

Today I have the lovely ILNP Cameo, one of their Ultra Chrome polishes. Cameo is a super shifty polish, the colors I saw while wearing this include purple, pink, gold, copper, and definitely green. I even maybe saw a hint of blue somewhere too. I love ILNP's Ultra Chromes, they really pack a lot of punch. I have been disappointed sometimes with other duochromes, but all of the Ultra Chromes I've tried from ILNP have really been fantastic and shift to such a wide array of colors.

This is three thin coats of Cameo. It was very easy to apply and had a great consistency.

I Love Nail Polish Ten Fold and Money Bin

*Purchased by me*

If I ever win the lotto, I have a really good plan for what nail polish to wear when I go pick up my winnings and then immediately buy my Lamborghini. I will be wearing ILNP Ten Fold with an accent nail (or two) of ILNP Money Bin. It just sounds like a wealthy mani, doesn't it? ILNP Ten Fold is a grayed out minty holo, the color of money! Ten Fold is one of the new Ultra Holo polishes. They are supposed to be super intense and in-your-face holographic. Ten Fold definitely is super holo, I could a  linear rainbow flame even in a dimly lit room! These pictures were actually taken on a cloudy day and it even rained a bit while I took the pictures, but you can still see the holo goodness!

This is three thin coats of Ten Fold. The first coat looked pretty sheer, but the second two built it up to full opacity nicely. It was easy to apply and went on quite smoothly.

ILNP Money Bin is on my nails right now, and I'm not sure I'll ever take it off. Money Bin is the most blingy yellow gold holographic flaky dose of awesome I have ever seen. It almost looks like a different polish in every lighting situation. Sometimes you really see the flakies and they look like a pale gold or even silver and other times it is a bright yellow gold and all you see is holographic rainbows! It is super holographic too, my camera was having a heart attack in the sun here.

This is three thin coats of Money Bin. Again, it was a little sheer on the first coat, but built up nicely with the second and third. It was easy to apply.

You can see below how different Money Bin looks in dim lighting. You can really see the flakies here and how it looks kind of silvery gold. It really is a fascinating polish and I'm enjoying looking at it in various places!

These two gorgeous polishes are available now on ILNP.com.

I Love Nail Polish Rapture (H) Swatches!

 *purchased by me*

I am loving the sunshine we've been having, mostly because it's a great chance for me to wear ALL THE HOLO stuff!! ILNP Rapture (H) is one of the polishes I wanted to test drive during this sunny period. Rapture is an antique gold Ultra Chrome Flakie that shifts to blue and olive green. The holo version here also contains scattered holo sparkle that really adds to the beauty of the polish. You can see all the twinkly rainbow sparkles mixed in with the beautiful flakies, it's a really cool effect in person!

This is just one coat of Rapture (H) over OPI Road House Blues. I wanted to wear it over a dark blue to make the gold and the holo really pop, but you can wear the ILNP Ultra Chrome Flakies on their own in a few coats as well. This was super easy to apply and has a great consistency. I felt like the flakies spread themselves around well and didn't end up concentrated in one spot.

I'm chalking ILNP Rapture (H) up to another Win for ILNP in my book. I am really loving these Ultra Chrome Flakies! ILNP Rapture (H) is available now at ilnp.com.

ILNP Fame Swatches and Drooling

 *Purchased by me*

I only have a few more ILNP pretties to show you and then I'll have shown you all of my ILNPs I'll have to buy some more to swatch! Today's stunner of the day is I Love Nail Polish Fame, a silver and gold flakie polish with tons of linear holo pigment. Indoors, Fame looks like white gold flakies of varying sizes. It's really metallic and stunning even in the lowest of lighting. Upon walking into sunlight, you discover that Fame is also REALLY holographic! The linear holo flame is incredible in bright sun. This polish also looks super cool outdoors, but out of direct sunlight, because you can see both the holo and the pretty metallic flakes. Like it's sister, ILNP Happily Ever After, it's like having two polishes in one! Fame is just so freaking pretty- indoors, outdoors, upside down, backwards, on the moon, etc.

This is three thin coats of Fame and it was nicely opaque. The formula is very good, I have no complaints. It was easy to apply and the consistency was good. Occasionally, a flakie will kind of hang over the edge of your nail, but you can easily push it back on to the nail with no trouble.

ILNP Fame is available now on ilnp.com and I highly recommend you check it out if you like holos, flakies, metallics, or awesome nail polish.

ILNP Timeless Vow

*purchased by me*

My love affair with ILNP continues today with I Love Nail Polish Timeless Vow. Timeless Vow is a super unique dusty sage green with gold flakes and linear holographic pigment. The green base is kind of minty-ish, with some hints of grey. The holo in this is extremely holographic and rainbow-y in the sun, but I did keep catching holo flashes indoors too. That's why my next picture in is such dim lighting- I wanted to show you what it looks like without a lot of light.

I love how it looks here too! Timeless Vow is not a one trick pony! Unlike some holo polishes, this is unique and stunning in low indoor lighting too! The golden flakes really pop against the shimmering  pale green background. (Also- sorry about the lobster hands in all of these pictures. They didn't look so lobster-y in person!)

Timeless Vow was easy to apply and I used three thin coats in these pictures. I didn't have to do any clean-up here at all. The first coat seemed sheer, but it definitely built up to full opacity in three coats.

*purchased by me*

I grabbed Timeless Vow during the preorder, but it should be available on ILNP.com sometime in the next few weeks, with the rest of the spring collection.

ILNP Happily Ever After

*purchased by me*

Happy Monday everyone! Or unhappy Monday depending on your view point haha. If it's unhappy Monday, hopefully the swatches I have today will make it a little better. This stunning holo/flakie festival of loveliness is I Love Nail Polish Happily Ever After. Happily Ever After is a silvery lavender with silver flakes and linear holographic pigment. The linear holographic flame is CRAZY intense outside! I wasn't expecting it to be so holo, but it is for sure. Inside, you can really see all of the pretty silver flakes in the lavender base (see the picture below). I also could see the holo inside too, just not in the dimmest lighting.

I love the picture above because you can see the crazy holo, but around the edges you can see the flakes too, it's neat! This is three coats of Happily Ever After. The first coat was sheer, but by the second coat it was nearly opaque. I did a third for good measure and the opacity was perfect. It was extremely easy to apply- I didn't do any clean up here. The flakes are flat and smooth with out any top coat (although I did use a layer in these pictures).

*purchased by me*

I am preeeetttty much obsessed with Happily Ever After. It is a magnificent work of art. I got this during the pre-order for the ILNP Spring 2015 collection and it's not yet available on ILNP.com. However, the spring collection is going to be released soon, so keep an eye out!
