Memorial Day Stars and Stripes

*Some products sent for review*

Hope all of my US readers are enjoying your Memorial Day weekend! I picked up these American flag stencils from What's Up Nails awhile back and thought they'd be perfect to honor our veterans this weekend.

I used OPI Infinite Shine Non-Stop White for the base, Lynnderella Unicorn Shoes for the blue stars, and China Glaze Ruby Pumps for the stripes. Overall I love how it came out, but I had some challenges with the stencils themselves. The stars did NOT want to pop out of the stencils. I had to pretty much individually remove them with tweezers, so the whole thing took quite a bit longer than I expected. But I do like the finished look!

These stencils are available now at What's Up Nails!

Lynnderella 2017 Advents, Part 3!

 *Sent for review*

Happy 2018 everyone! You'll have to excuse me while I finish posting some 2017 stuff... this is the last batch of holiday/Advent 2017 Lynnderellas and I also have the Zoya holiday collection coming soon. We have been having record cold temps and I haven't been able to bring myself to go outside and swatch. I did just finally get a light box though, so that should help! First up here is Lynnderella Festivitree, a rich green microglitter with red, green, and silver accents, and cute metallic green Christmas trees. This is such a perfect Christmas polish and so cheery! Now that Christmas is over, I'm already wishing for the festive feeling again, I hate January.

This is two coats of Festivitree with two layers of top coat. It was easy to apply, I got several Christmas trees, but some of them got buried by other glitters, so it might be best to place those where you want them.

GAHHHHHHH look at this!!!! Lynnderella 12-26-17 Ruby Tuesday is a drool-worthy blackened ruby red shimmer. I'm not even crazy about reds, but I love this one so much! I love seeing the holo microglitter glowing from within the deep red shimmer, so cool.

Two easy coats and nice smooth application. One layer of top coat is all you need since this is primarily shimmer.

Lynnderella 12-28-17 Sugar Storm has a milky white-pink base with some holo microglitter, shimmer, and assorted neon glitters. It has a fun party kind of vibe and is really perfect for any season, not just this one!

This is two coats of Sugar Storm alone and it was easy to apply. You can also layer one coat of this over a lighter base color (I tried China Glaze Boho Blues) and it looks gorgeous!

Let's leave the 2017 Lynnderella Advents with a bang- Lynnderella 12-30-17 Holidruzy is a spectacular collection of assorted color-shifting flakes and shifty shimmer. or layered over a base. Blue-ish purple color shifting magic!

This is two coats of Holidruzy alone, but I bet one coat over a base color would also be gorgeous. It was easy to apply and I used just one layer of top coat for shine and smoothness.

These polishes are all available now at http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella.

2017 Lynnderella Advents, Part 2!

 *Sent for review*

I have some more lovely Lynnderella Advent polishes for you today, there are some stunners here! Lynnderella 12-14-17 Snow Shoes is a pretty all white glitter topper with delicate holo and silver shimmer. It reminded me of sparkling snow in the bottle. It contains lots of different white glitters, including shoe glitter! Get it? "Snow shoes" 😀!

This is one coat of Snow Shoes over a gray Zoya that I can't remember the name of, ugh sorry! Maybe Dove? Snow Shoes was easy to apply and the glitter (even the shoe) went onto the brush quite willingly.

Lynnderella 12-16-17 Candy Arcane is a pretty purple with some interesting almost taupe tones to it. It's a little lavender, a little pinky, and a little neutral in some lights. It's more complex that just purple. It has great scattered holo shimmer in it as well.

This is three thin coats of Candy Arcane. It was easy to apply. I did a pretty thin first coat and I think this could be opaque in two coats if you did a thicker first coat.

😍😍 I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE this red!!! Lynnderella 12-20-17 Cherry Cherry Ice is a bright cherry red with strong pink undertones and a glowing almost blue-ish shimmer. I am not usually a red person, but this one is so bright and juicy, I can't resist it. It's on my toes right now!

This is two coats! It was nicely opaque and applied very well. Look at that shimmer!

Lynnderella 12-18-17 Peppermint Chatty is an irresistible mint and pink glitter bomb. It has mint circle glitters and a variety of pink glitters with a shimmery base. I love the combination of pink and mint for the holidays. It feels festive, but not the typical old red and green.

This is one coat of Peppermint Chatty over OPI Care to Danse?. I used two layers of top coat, since some of the circle glitters are pretty large. This polish is full of glitters, so absolutely no need to fish around for them.

You all know I love a good green! Lynnderella 12-22-17 Me, My Elf, and I is a spring green holographic glitter with iridescent flakes and strong pink shimmer. Love those big iridescent flakes! This is very sparkly and bright, perfect to brighten up any dark days!

This is two easy coats of Me, My Elf, and I. I used just one layer of top coat and it was nicely smooth.

And now for my favorite of this post, Lynnderella 12-24-17 All the Trimmings is one of those classic Lynnderella glitter toppers that made her famous in the nail world. The mix of many different glitters and shimmers is really gorgeous! The colors are all jewel-toned and feel perfect for the  holiday season. On my ring finger, I got three diamonds all in a row somehow. I liked the way it looked, so I left it, but that will probably never happen again!

This is just one coat of All the Trimmings over Sally Hansen Black to Black. It was easy to apply and a great consistency, despite being very glitter heavy. I used two layers of top coat for a glossy smooth finish.

All of these beauties are available now at http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella.

Lynnderella New O.G. Collection!

*Sent for review*

Lynnderella recently released a new collection called the "New O.G.", O.G. standing for Original Glitter. I have swatches of some of the polishes for you today, starting with the beautiful Lynnderella Eye Candy. Eye Candy is a holographic blue nano glitter with turquoise hints and red microglitter accents. It looks more turquoise in certain lighting and leans more of a true blue in others.

This is two coats of Eye Candy. I found it to be nicely opaque and apply well. I used one layer of top coat and it was very smooth, thanks to the nano glitter.

Lynnderella Fleshed Out is described as "nearly naked translucent shimmerella with pink and shifting blue shimmer as well as subtle silver holographic nanoglitter accents". If you're looking to jazz up your nude polish library, definitely check this out. It's understated, but still packs a holo shimmer punch.

This is only two coats, though if you have longer nails than I did at this time, you will likely need three coats. It was easy to apply and a nice consistency. I used one layer of top coat and it is smooth to the touch.

The namesake of the collection, Lynnderella New O.G., is, of course, an homage to the famous Connect the Dots. This new glitter topper is even better than the original, as it has stronger shimmer in the base and even more fun shapes. Lynnderella describes this as "black-and-white multiglitter with blue shimmer and silver holographic nanoglitter in a clear base. Dots, stars, hexagons, rectangles, hearts, triangles, clouds, flowers, squares, diamonds and more". This is always a great look!

This is one coat of New O.G. over OPI Reach for the Sky. I really like this pairing! New O.G. was easy to apply, no need for glitter placement, and all of the glitter pieces seemed to lay flat.

I've already shown you Lynnderella You Name It! This was the preview polish for this collection and it is a "multishimmered multiglitter topper with holographic nanoglitter accents. Lilac-shimmered clear base with holographic microglitter". You can name this polish and request a special hand drawn label!

This is one coat of You Name It! over OPI Polly Want a Lacquer!

There are two more polishes in this collection, Red Ahead and Vamper Tantrum. They look lovely as well! For swatches of those, check out Lynnderella's blog. New O.G. is available now at https://www.amazon.com/handmade/Lynnderella, lynnderella.com and http://lynnderella.storenvy.com.
