Zoya Innocence Collection Spring 2019 Swatches!

*Sent for review*

Happy spring! I have the Zoya Innocence Spring 2019 collection today and it's a great mix of soft neutrals and pops of bold colors. First up is Zoya Birch, a gorgeous soft grayed-out lavender creme.  This is a a perfect neutral for spring, soft, but still a little edgy looking thanks to the lavender tones.

This is two easy coats. Birch was very pigmented, if you do thicker coats, it may be nearly opaque in one coat. I like to do thinner coats to prevent chipping. Really great coverage and effortless application.

Zoya Theo is an interesting dark gray slightly textured polish with silver flakes and black/dark blue glitters (Zoya says they are dark blue, but they are so dark they look black to me). Zoya says this is like "a spring thunderstorm in the night", love it. If you're not a fan of texture polish, this really isn't one. It feels mostly smooth and doesn't eat topcoat like a regular textured polish. But you can kind of see the texture, even under the shiny topcoat.

This was three thin coats of Theo. I had a little sheerness at the tips with two coats, so I added the third. It was easy to apply and only needed one layer of topcoat.

Zoya Agnes is a warm neutral pink creme. It's right about halfway between beige and pink, depending on lighting and skin tone it may lean more one way than the other.

This is two coats. Like Birch, Agnes is very pigmented and has fantastic full coverage. It was also easy to apply and streak-free.

Zoya Fern is a really interesting color and perfect for spring. If you've ever wanted a neutral green, here it is! Fern is a mixture of green and gray, with a hint of blue, with pearly gold shimmer. The shimmer is a little more obvious in the bottle than on the nail, but it still adds a nice element to the polish. Very unique and beautiful color!

Happily, this is also two easy coats. Fern was lovely to apply and had a great consistency, I didn't even need to do any clean up on this one.

Here's one of the two pops of color in the Innocence collection. Zoya Evette is a saturated grape creme with a hint of pink undertone. It's not too bright or too dark, just a nice bold purple. I think the slight pink undertone makes this one different from other purples in my collection.

Two coats again here. Evette is nicely opaque, great coverage. I did manage to flood my cuticles twice so don't load too much polish on the brush with this one.

I saved my favorite of the collection for last! Zoya Aire is a deepened periwinkle blue creme. This shade of blue is just absolutely perfect. It has the elements of a periwinkle, but in a bold dark color. This is the first polish I wore in the collection and I will be wearing it many more times this spring and summer!

I'm always happy when my favorite shade in the collection also performs well and Aire meets that challenge! Two effortless coats, fully pigmented, and no troubles applying. Love it!!

My top two in this collection are Aire and Fern, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of these polishes. The two neutrals have fabulous formulas, so those are a great pick if you are a neutral fan or just need to add some to your collection. Theo is such a unique polish and Evette is a stunning color. Well done Zoya!!

Zoya Thrive Spring 2018 Swatches and Review!

*Sent for review*

Even though the weather is not feeling very spring-y here in CT, I am ready for spring nail colors and make-up. Seems like this has been a never-ending winter and it is actually really cold out right now as I type this 🙄. Zoya's spring 2018 Thrive collection is a great set of colors for spring and I like that they are a bit different from the typical pastel creme spring collections. First up is my favorite of the six, Zoya Haruko. Haruko is a soft violet with lots of metallic shimmer. The shimmer is very noticeable, even more so in person than in these pictures. The shimmer is like a darker violet to almost blue color, so the contrast is nice against the soft purple base. This polish just glows beautifully.

This is two coats of Haruko. I thought I'd have to do a third coat with the pale color, but it was nicely opaque. Application was great, perfectly smooth and easy!

Zoya Darby is a moody blue-gray with the same kind of metallic shimmer as Haruko. The base is sort of a steel gray and the shimmer is very blue, so it gives the polish an overall blue tone. I don't think I have any other grays with such prominent pretty blue shimmer, I like it a lot!!

This is two coats again. The formula was a little thicker than Haruko, but not hard to apply. It was very opaque, maybe even a one-coater for some of you.

Zoya Trudith is described as a "muted, wisteria purple creme". It's sort of a mauve-y purple, with some dustiness. It's a nice, almost neutral feeling color.

Two coats. A little thicker again, but still easy to apply.

Zoya Brandi is a warm, rosy pink creme. It's an interesting pink, a little dusty, some hints of coral in there. Definitely not your typical pastel pink included in spring collections. Brandi has more depth to it and I think it would be work appropriate for most, without being boring.

Two easy coats, the formula on this one was great.

Zoya Monroe is described as a "glamour pink creme". It's a deep raspberry pink/magenta. This is exactly the kind of color I want on my toes right now, it feels like flowers blooming. Or maybe like flowers might bloom some time in the next month or so.

Two coats. This one was a little on the thin side, so just don't load up your brush too much or it will flood your cuticles.

Zoya Leisel is a sheer sparkly purple pink topper. with a blue-ish sheen. The sparkles are pretty and iridescent and I think this will be a beautiful topper over almost any color.

This is three coats of Leisel alone, so it is a bit buildable. If you don't mind some VNL, this is a pretty look by itself.

This is one layer of Leisel over Haruko, I LOVE this combo!!! Gorgeous!!

Haruko is definitely my favorite of the six, but Darby is a pretty close second. If you're eyeing any of these colors, the formulas are all solid, so go ahead and pick them up! Hope spring is alive and well in your area, because it certainly is not in mine yet.

A Spring-y Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 84!

*Sent for review*

Happy Friday! This post today is filled with spring Lynnderellas, perfect for Easter weekend and the start of warm weather (hopefully). First up we have the lovely Lynnderella Bunny Bird, a baby blue with multicolored pastel shimmer. The shimmer is what really sets this one apart from other blues you may own. It has little bits of pink, green, purple, maybe even some yellow shimmer bits. Just gorgeous!

This is two coats of Bunny Bird. Application was perfect, no issues at all and I didn't even have to do any clean up. I did use one layer of top coat, but it was fairly shiny on it's own.

Lynnderella The Magenta Project is a stunning magenta pink almost jelly-like base with large pink and red shimmer particles. I love how the shimmer looks like glowing embers in the pink base. Although the shimmer is very visible, it's not glitter, so the polish is very smooth.

This is two coats and great application here too! One layer of top coat for extra shine, but this was perfectly smooth without.

Lynnderella Chantilly Violet just screams spring! This is a lavender crelly base with purple, green, turquoise, and yellow-green circle glitters, as well as a smattering of silver shimmer. I love the mix of purple and green glitters!

This is three thin coats and one layer of top coat. I found it best to do two coats without too much glitter on the brush and then kind of add the glitter in the final coat. Otherwise the glitters get covered up and look a little lumpy.

Lynnderella Princess Cloud Blossom is a dainty pink shimmer with scattered heart and four-pointed star accents. There is a good amount of holo silver microgltter so you catch a glimpse of a holo rainbow here and there and the heart and star glitters are holographic as well. You all know by now I'm not a huge fan of pink polish, but I unexpectedly fell in love with this one.

Two super easy coats! I used one layer of top coat and it was smooth and shiny.

😍😍 I'll wait while you grab your drool napkin.... Lynnderella Royal Violet is a deep blue violet jelly with silver, blue, and purple microglitter. The glitter just floats in the base and looks amazing. This is one of my favorite polishes in 2018 so far, just gorgeous!

Two easy coats, no fuss! One layer of top coat provides a glossy smooth surface.

Lynnderella Candy Planet is a light pink with lots of silver shimmer and fun bright multicolored accent glitter. This definitely reminds me of a candy store, with lots of different brightly colored goodies, and maybe a cotton candy machine too! After all the dark days in the winter, this is what we all need for spring.

This is two coats. I can still see a bit of VNL, but I don't mind it too much. I'm sure a third coat would  hide that completely. I used one layer of top coat, but a second would smooth out the larger glitters.

Another delicate spring flower, Lynnderella Satin Blossom is a perfect pale pink with contrasting magenta pink shimmer. In some lighting, you just see a pearly pale pink, but in others, you catch the pop of brighter pink shimmer. Very pretty! I love how smooth the shimmer is in this one, reminds me of Chanel shimmers.

Two easy coats! I thought I would need a third with a color this pale, but I didn't! It is shiny on it's own, but I did use top coat for extra shine and to speed dry time.

Lynnderella Petal to the Metal is a very unique shade of purple. It has a lot of pink, so it's almost equal measures of purple and magenta. The color is really saturated and my camera actually would not capture the color. I had to use my iPhone to better represent the color for you. I always love a red/pink-toned purple, so I am a fan of this one.

Two coats again and one layer of top coat. Nice to apply!

Some of these Lynnderellas are available at http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella, but some were exclusive to the Glitter Fairies group on Facebook. As always, if you would like to join, please just email me at neverenoughnails@gmail.com so I may nominate you for membership.
