Lynnderella 2018 Advent Polishes, Part 1!

*Sent for review*

Hi all! Hope you are having a great holiday season so far. I have some of the 2018 Lynnderella Advent polishes for you today and will have a few more in a second post. Lynnderella 12-1-18 HopeBeast is made with "shifting chameleon glitter and flakes as well as subtle holographic accents". It is a very shifty polish, I saw dark blue, teal, purple, pink, and green. Lots of fun to stare at and I think it will layer beautifully over a dark base as well. This is two coats over bare nails.

Lynnderella 12-2-18 Mommy's Little Elfster is the perfect warm red shimmer for Christmas. The hints of orange are really great on my skin tone. This was two perfect and easy coats.

Lynnderella 12-7-18 Christmas Cardi is a shocking pink shimmer. This neon pink is on the warmer side, so it looks coral at times. I think this is my new favorite neon and I love that it's unconventional for Christmas. Two coats!

Now this is a festive mani! One coat of Lynnderella 12-9-18 Holoday Houseguests over Christmas Cardi. Lynnderella's glitter toppers are still my favorite thing that she does and this one doesn't disappoint. This is a holiday party in a bottle complete with "holographic multiglitter with a shifty blue-pink and lavender multishimmer as well as holographic nanoglitter accents".

Lynnderella 12-14-18 Pinkerdoodle reminds me of pink and green peppermint candies. It is a pink holo microglitter with red, green, and pink accents. This is giving me a craving for peppermint stick ice cream with hot fudge on top! Two coats!

All of the 2018 Lynnderella Advent polishes are available now on the Lynnderella eBay store and Amazon store. I will be posting more soon!

Gorgeous Cosmos Ayurda Collection Swatches!

*Sent for review*

Hi all! Today I have some lovely polishes from a new to me indie brand called Gorgeous Cosmos. Gorgeous Cosmos is based in India and their polishes are all 5-free! I have six polishes from the Ayurda collection, a group of highly pigmented cremes. The Ayurda collection contains "a special blend of the following herbs and oils: Argan oil Jojoba oil Almond oil Olive oil Tamanu oil Sesame oil Rosemary extract Bhringaraaja (Eclipta prostrata) extract Brahmi (Centella asiatica) extract Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) extract". Sounds great for nail health! My absolute favorite of the six I received is the Teal Ayurda, it is the most perfect shade of teal, like gentle tropical waters. It's a really unique shade of teal, one that I've actually been looking for for a long time. I find that most polishes this shade are not pigmented enough for what I'm looking for, but no worries with that here.

All of the polishes in this collection are highly pigmented. Most could be done with one careful coat. I did use two coats in my swatches, simply because I can't help myself from applying one more coat. But they are opaque in one coat for sure. I think the second coat just smoothed everything out and looked more lush. The formula on these is a little on the thicker side, but not problematic. All swatches have one layer of quick dry top coat on top.

Next up is Blue Ayurda, such an incredible shade of pure sky blue. If this shade of blue doesn't make you happy, you got issues 😉. It's a really stunning slightly deeper than Robin's Egg blue. It's such a saturated color too, it really pops without being chalky or neon.

This is two coats, but again, you could do one coat. These polishes are very pigmented!!

Peach Ayurda reminds me of the color of Peach Ring candies, not the yellow part, but the darker pinky color. Aaaaaaand now I want Peach Rings... This is a great pink creme with hints of peach, almost leaning into a pink coral territory.

This is two coats as well. This one wanted to flood my cuticles a little bit, so clean up might be needed. Very opaque and saturated with pigment.

Mauve Ayurda is a gorgeous light grape purple creme. You know I am a purple lover, so this one makes me swoon. This is a fantastic shade of purple and if your collection is lacking a shade like this, you need this for sure!

This one really did not need the second coat, it was perfectly pigmented, smooth and lovely in one coat. Love it!

Sunshine Ayurda is the color of the bright yellow sun. So cheery and perfect for summer! This is the perfect primary yellow and would be great as a base for nail art of some sort!

This is the only one in the collection that really could have used two coats. The second coat just evened it out, but that is pretty standard yellow polish behavior. It is very pigmented like the other colors and the formula is on the thicker side as well.

Last but not least is Pink Ayurda. This is the perfect Barbie fuchsia pink creme. A little bold, a little dash of purple to keep it interesting, just my type of pink. Reminds me of the Barbie Dream Car I wanted when I was four and never got...

Two coats again and lovely application on this one. Loving the bold pigmentation in these.

There is also a 7th color in the Ayurda collection that I didn't get, a very cool bright green. These colors are all so rich in pigment, I think they would be perfect for stamping and water marbling. Look out for a future post in which I test that theory!

Octopus Party The Algae-atic Sea and On the Frocks

*Purchased by me*

I have a long way to go towards wearing all of the polish I bought at Polish Con, still wading through it all! Today I have two polishes I purchased there from the lovely Dave at Octopus Party Nail Lacquer. Octopus Party The Algae-atic Sea is a bright near neon lime creme. It's a really unique shade of green and was very hard to capture accurately in pictures. It looks more minty here, but it really is like a lime color. Not as soft either and definitely brighter. I think my first picture is the most accurate, but it is still greener and brighter in person. There are a variety of swatches on the OPNL Etsy store site and they all look different too, so I think it's just one of those troublesome beauties to photograph! What an amazing color in person though, wow!! I topped The Algae-atic Sea with one layer of Octopus Party On the Frocks, a very cool iridescent glitter topper. The glitters in On the Frocks shift from blue to purple to green and are very smooth feeling, not rough at all. I am loving this combo and I got a ton of compliments on this mani!

This is two coats of The Algae-atic Sea. It was lovely to apply and nicely pigmented. If you have longer nails than me, you could need a third coat, but two was perfect here. I topped it with one easy layer of On the Frocks and one layer of top coat.

Octopus Party The Algae-atic Sea is available now in the OPNL Etsy Shop. I don't see On the Frocks, but maybe it will return in the future. While you're there, I strongly advise you to get The Pleasure Principle. It is an INSANELY gorgeous shifty multi chrome. I have to swatch that for you all next, it's nuts!

Colors by Llarowe One Headlight

*Purchased by me*

I'm still slowing making my way through all of the polishes I picked up at Polish Con. It's taking me awhile, but it's fun for sure! Colors by Llarowe One Headlight pretty much immediately caught my eye when I walked over to their table. This is a gorgeous neon pinky coral with blue shimmer and icy blue glass fleck. Like a lot of neons, it freaked out my camera a bit. I would say it is a bit more pink-orange in person, it looks almost reddish in some of these pictures.

This is a crelly finish, so I used three coats for the level of coverage seen here. With two coats there was still a lot of VNL, but I think the crelly finish allows the glass fleck to really shine. The formula was the perfect consistency and easy to work with. Use a shiny top coat, as with all neons, One Headlight dries semi-matte.

The Colors by Llarowe site is down right now for their vacation, so I am not entirely sure if this will be available again, but I hope so! If you love neons, glass fleck, and bright summery corals, you should try to nab this one!

KBShimmer Multi Chromes

*Purchased by me*

Today I have two of KBShimmers excellent Multi Chrome polishes for your enjoyment! I am wearing one of these right now as my full mani, and let me tell you, I am having such a good time watching it shift to all of its different colors! Also, just a reminder, you can win a $50 gift card to KBShimmer.com right now on my Instagram, so go enter!! So first up, we have the lovely polish I am currently wearing, KBShimmer Chroma Chameleon, one of their newer Multi Chromes. KBShimmer says that Chroma Chameleon shifts from "bright fuchsia pink, to a coppery rose, then a soft gold, to a spring green color", but I also see a deep glowing reddish plum that is really gorgeous. This is a serious shifter, I spent half of the day yesterday waving my nails around and staring at it (excellent use of my time).

I used three thin coats here. Two coats had a bit of VNL for me, but if you do thicker coats, two should work. The formula was nice and easy to work with. In the pictures I see some brushstrokes, but I can't really see them in person for the most part. So gorgeous, I am in love!

KBShimmer Pigment of My Imagination is a deep blue purple that shifts to red. Sometimes it can look navy blue, or brighter purple, or a red grape color. This one definitely has less shift than Chroma Chameleon, but it is still beautiful and shifty enough to be entertaining. I love the way it looks when you mostly see the purple, but the edges are all glowing red! Very cool!

This is three thin coats, same nice formula as Chroma Chameleon. Again, I see some brush strokes in the pictures, but they were less apparent in person. Just something to note in case that is your personal pet peeve!

Both of these are available right now on KBShimmer.com. Don't forget to enter my giveaway on Instagram and you can purchase these with your $50 KBShimmer gift card! The set of 6 of their new Multi Chromes is only $50, so it will work out perfectly 😉

KBShimmer All the Bright Moves and Polish Con Picks!

 *Purchased by me*

I am super excited to show you all these gorgeous KBShimmer polishes that I nabbed at Polish Con! KBShimmer has a new collection of hot neons that debuted at Polish Con. The neons from the All the Bright Moves collection have a juicy crelly-like formula and I think it makes them apply really well. KBShimmer Color Me Rad is super bright neon watermelon red. It has undertones of pink and orange, so it's not a straight up red. Both of these neons are so hard to photograph, my camera had a heart attack. I think my pictures of this one are too red, the pinkness shows up more in person. I am pretty obsessed with neons in the summer anyway and this one is fantastic!!

This is just two coats of Color Me Rad with no white base (yay!!). Who has time in the summer to use a white base under their neons? Not me! Luckily this is so vibrant and stunning, it's just a simple two coater on it's own. The formula is gel-like and really nice to work with. My only notes were to make sure each coat dried completely before applying the next. If the previous coat is too wet, there could be some pulling and patching.

The second neon I picked up is KBShimmer How Low Can You Flamingo? Again, it was hard to capture the true beauty of this, but it's the perfect hot flamingo pink. If you are a lover of neon pinks, snap this up right now! My pictures are a bit more accurate with this one than with Color Me Rad, but it still doesn't show off the true glowing beauty. I am putting this on my toes tonight, don't even care that tomorrow is going to be rainy and chilly!

This is two coats again with the same lovely gel-like formula. So smooth to apply and no white base needed. As with all neons, these dry matte or semi-matte, so use a nice shiny top coat!

The number one polish on my list for Polish Con was KBShimmer Grand Prospect Holo. This was a Polish Con exclusive, but I just had to show it to you because it's stunning! My pictures aren't doing it justice, but it shifts from a teal to aqua blue to an eggplant purple and deep blue, almost like a cobalt. In case that wasn't enough for you, it also contains a lot of small holo glitters, adding to the rainbow effect. It's a truly mesmerizing polish and the reason I made a beeline for the KBShimmer table immediately upon arriving at Polish Con.

This is just two coats and one layer of top coat. The holo glitters are small enough that they don't feel rough once you apply top coat. It was easy to apply and I love the slightly thicker consistency. Not too thick, but just thick enough that it doesn't run all over your cuticles. I have the same note on the formula about letting it dry a bit in between coats. If I applied the second coat too fast, I ended up pulling some of the first coat off. But that is easy enough to deal with!

The other KBShimmer Polish Con exclusive is KBShimmer We Make Your Dreams Come Blue. This frosty blue is loaded with holographic micro flakes and shimmer. It has a slight shift as well, from an ice blue to a purple-y, maybe almost periwinkle, and then a hint of aqua too. I love the rainbow-y goodness that the micro flakes add, nice touch!

This is two coats again, I'm very happy with the pigmentation of all four of these polishes. It had the same nice gel/crelly consistency as the others. The base of this one is a bit more jelly-like, so I had a little VNL at two coats, but I don't mind it. It feels like it belongs here!

In celebration of KBShimmer being my first stop at Polish Con, I am giving away a $50 Gift Card to KBShimmer.com! The entire All the Brights Moves collection is $50, so you can grab all the neons, or pick and choose from other great collections too!! Please stop by my Instagram account for details and to enter!
