Fanchromatic Nails The Long Summer

I am all for the Indie polish movement, a lot of totally amazing polishes are being created these days by people who really love polish as much as you and I do. So when Lynae of Fanchromatic Nails asked if I wanted to review a couple of her polishes, I jumped at the chance! Lynae gets the inspiration for her polishes from her favorite books, movies and TV shows. Today's post is the ugly/pretty Fanchromatic Nails The Long Summer, inspired by Game of Thrones.

The Long Summer is a pea soup green jelly-ish creme. It goes on a bit sheer, but builds up to what you see here. This is three medium-thick coats. If you are a lover of weird green colors like I am, you'll definitely want to add this to your collection. I happen to love ugly/pretty greens, and I don't have one quite like this in my collection. The formula is pretty good, a bit sheer at first and streaky on the first coat, but it evened out in the end!

If you're looking for a unique pea soup green color, definitely check out The Long Summer. It looks great alone, or layered under a stunning glitter like I'll be showing you in a few days ;).

The Long Summer is available at Fanchromatic Nails Etsy store. Lynae offers international shipping and both full size and mini bottles! Also, her tagline is "polish for the geek in you" and being a big geek, I love that!

Polish sent for review. For more information, please read my Disclosure Policy.

That's what it reminds me of too Angie!! I had such a craving for pea soup after this post :)

Elizabeth- I love the texture of this one too, it makes it even more unique!

Floral Perfume- I wish I had thought of that, because kiwi fruit sounds prettier than pea soup LOL!!
