OPI Muppets Part One: This Post is Pic Heavy and Awesome-Filled!!!

I have been totally pumped about the OPI Muppets collection since the very first preview pictures we saw. I love glitter, as you know, and these glitters looked especially cool, with their smattering of hex glitter. I also LOVE the Muppets, especially Miss Piggy and Kermit. I received the collection last week, and I was not disappointed! This collection is so beautiful!! I am super busy at the moment, so I do have to split my swatches into three parts, but I promise I will get all of these beauties swatched soon. I have four of the glitters for you to feast your eyes on today.

OPI Divine Swine is a stunning combination of fine pink glitter with large silver hex glitter. This is the first polish I tried and I ended up wearing it immediately for about four days. I wanted to show you all of the glitters on their own, without a base color, to show you that you can wear them alone! This is four coats of Divine Swine and I loved how it looked. It's very sparkly glitter and catches the light quite often. I really love the addition of the silver hex glitter, it adds a lot of sparkle. I got a ton of compliments on this!

Four coats may sound like a lot, but because this is just glitter in a clear base, it dries very quickly. There is not much waiting around for this to dry, so I really didn't mind doing four coats. I know everyone worries about removal when it comes to polishes this glittery, but I just soak a cotton pad in remover and let it sit on my nail for about 30-40 seconds. Then I swipe straight toward my free edge. This makes the removal process so easy and takes no time at all.

I also REALLY like the name "Divine Swine"! LOL.

OPI Fresh Frog of Bel Air is so amazing, I can't stand it. I do not own anything this particular shade of green glitter, and it is spectacular!! This is a real true green, not too yellow or too blue. Fresh Frog of Bel Air is a combination of fine green glitter and silver hex glitter pieces. Like Divine Swine, the glitter in this polish is extremely sparkly and eye-catching. And I just can't get over this perfect shade of green.

This is four coats, and again, it dried very quickly, so I didn't mind doing four coats. It looked a bit more opaque in person actually, and I would definitely wear this by itself. It would also look fabulous over a lighter green or even a gold for a super sparkly look.

OPI Gettin' Miss Piggy With It! is a really fun holiday polish. It's a very cheery shade of true red and the glitter is the same super sparkly kind found in Fresh Frog and Divine Swine. Gettin' Miss Piggy With It! contains fine red glitter, silver hex glitter and also red hex glitter. The red hex glitter is really cool-looking and makes this polish a bit different than the first two.

Gettin' Miss Piggy With It! really screams holiday to me and would look amazing over silver, gold, white or a number of other colors. I did enjoy wearing it alone and it had the same fast dry time of the other two polishes. I only did three coats for this one and I thought it looked great. I guarantee I'll be wearing this a lot this holiday season. It will probably end up being my Christmas day mani.

The last, but oh so definitely not least, polish in today's post is OPI Rainbow Connection. I believe I said I would be "buying 10 bottles" of this and "dropkicking shoppers" to obtain Rainbow Connection!! Well, I wasn't exaggerating, I seriously LOVE this!! This is four coats again, but it is four coats of TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!!!! Drying time was super fast again, so four coats really doesn't even take very long. And look at this!!! Rainbow Connection has green, silver, blue and gold small round pieces of glitter, mixed in with blue, orange, pink and silver large hex pieces of glitter, as well as medium sized green, orange, blue, pink and many other color hex glitters!! I can't really even tell you all the different colors and sizes in this polish, but it is beautiful.

I took way too many pictures of Rainbow Connection, but I can't get enough of it. Like the other three polishes in this post, the glitter in Rainbow Connection is very sparkly and demands attention. I put this on to swatch, but I don't think I can take it off! I think I will have to wear it as a full mani right now!

Overall, I enjoy these four polishes a LOT. I love glitter polish and this is very creative/super sparkly glitter polish, so I was probably going to love these all along. All four can easily be worn alone or layered, depending on your preference. They dry quickly and are easy to remove when the proper removal method is used. I wore Divine Swine alone for five days and experienced one tiny chip and no tip wear, so I'd say the wear time is very good as well. I'd say all of these are a MUST HAVE if you are a connoisseur of glitter like myself.

The OPI Muppets collection is available now at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for  $8.50 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each Nail Lacquer.

The polishes in this post were sent to me for review by a PR agent for OPI. For more information, please read my Disclosure Policy.
