China Glaze Let's Jam

 *Purchased by me*

Hi everyone! Just popping in for a quick post about my NOTD for the past few days, China Glaze Let's Jam. I ordered some of the summer China Glazes awhile back, but am just getting around to wearing them. Let's Jam is a lovely purple with a violet blue shimmer. The blue shimmer is quite prominent in the sunshine and certain indoor lighting, but not visible at all in dimmer indoor lighting. I think this is a little brighter and less pale than my swatches show. I've noticed that a lot of swatches of this look different. I think it's because the blue shimmer makes the purple look like a different shade, depending on lighting.

This is two coats and the formula was OK. I applied thicker coats than usual, because the first nail I did, my first coat was thin, but very uneven looking. It's not difficult to apply, just maybe not the kind of polish that practically applies itself.

China Glaze Let's Jam is available at Ulta.com and Sally Beauty, as well as other salons near you!

I realize my posts have been sparse lately, but I've had a big week at work, so it will return to normal towards the end of this week! I have OPI Fall already, so swatches of that soon!

Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 48!!

*Sent for review*

Happy Friday readers! I hope you made it through the week unscathed and have some good weekend plans ahead. I have some real beauties for you today, starting with this intense fuchsia-toned purple shimmer, Lynnderella Born to the Purple. Born to the Purple is almost a neon bright purple and has a beautiful blue-lilac glow to it. I would say it's a tad darker than my pictures show, my camera hates to photograph bright purples!

This is three thin coats. It was nice and easy to apply, with a perfect consistency. I used top coat here because this didn't dry completely shiny, more like a satin finish.

Lynnderella Kanga Loves Roo is so awesome!! First of all, the Winnie the Pooh themed name rocks (having just returned from Disney World, I am all about it!). Second, this mauve glitter is so packed with holographic micro glitter and crazy glowing opal glitters! Kanga Loves Roo takes mauve to a new level! Lynn has made a few Winne the Pooh themed polishes recently, if you are a fan. So far, I think we have this one, C. Robin, Pooh Bare, and Love That Tigger.

This is two coats. It was pretty easy to apply, but I did use two layers of top coat. It was a little bumpy still after one and two really brings out the opal glitters.

The latest in Lynnderella's beloved Whizard series is Lynnderellla C.A. Whizard, Sr. This is described as a "lively blend of holographic cyan, aqua and baby blue microglitters accented with silver holographic full moons and nano stars". I did get nano stars in here, but they kind of got covered up with blue glitters!

This is two coats and it applied well. I used one layer of top coat for this one.

All of these polishes are currently available! C.A. Whizard, Sr. is available on lynnderella.com and the others are on the Lynnderella eBay store.

Tonic Polish Rainbowfish

*Purchased by me*

Hi all! Today I have a polish from an exciting new indie brand called Tonic Polish. Lindsey, the maker of Tonic Polish, recently just had her first launch and it was extremely successful. I ordered three polishes on June 26, they were shipped on June 30, and I received them on July 2. I am pleased with that time frame. Everything was packaged very safely in bubble wrap. The first polish I tried from the batch is Tonic Polish Rainbowfish. Rainbowfish is described as "tropical turquoise jelly base with linear holographic pigment, silver holographic micro glitters, pink/gold/green shifting multi chrome flakes, and a whisper of purple highlight". I would call it a turquoise jelly with linear holo, scattered holo micro glitters, flakies that shift between purple and gold/green, with some pinkish purple shimmer.

The Tonic description also says this has good coverage in 2 coats, but more are needed for full opacity. I'm glad it says that because that is the truth! This is three coats and I am happy with the opacity here, but two still had some VNL. The formula was fantastic though! Buttery smooth to apply and easy to control. I used top coat, but it wasn't too bumpy and gritty even before top coat.

I will say that the swatches on the listing for this polish appear a lot darker and more of a saturated turquoise than mine looks on me. I am still wearing it right now and would call it more of a watery turquoise than a vibrant one.

I took a cell phone picture in terrible indoor lighting yesterday while wearing this, but I wanted to include it because it shows off the linear holo flame!

I am pretty much obsessed with this polish and highly recommend purchasing it! I will have the other two I ordered for you to see soon and I am already planning on ordering more Tonic Polish. Rainbowfish isn't currently available on it's own, but Lindsey has said it will be returning, so no worries! Tonic Polish is available on Etsy.

New to Me Brand- daniPRO Nail Polish!

*Sent for review*

Hi everyone! Sorry for the long break in posting. I went away for a combo work/vacation trip and just couldn't get any posts together ahead of time. Today I have some polishes from a new to me brand, daniPRO. daniPRO is a "healthy" nail polish created by a Manhattan podiatrist. Healthy in this case just means it is 5-free, which we as nail polish enthusiasts know a lot of brands are now. It is also never tested on animals, so yay cruelty free! The first polish I have for you today is daniPRO Forever Girl Perfect Pink. Forever Girl Perfect Pink is a pale strawberry milkshake creme. It is almost on the crelly side of a creme and could yield a very natural gloss on the nails with just one coat.

This is three thin coats of Forever Girl Perfect Pink and it was pretty even for such a pale pink. I see a few minor streaks here and there, but not bad. I like the formula of these polishes a lot, they are that gel-like consistency that I find to be so easy to apply.

daniPRO My Girl Pure Pink is a gorgeous bright peony pink creme. It is so beautiful on my skin tone, so even though I have many bright pinks, I am really in love with this one! I think it will flatter a wide variety of skin tones. It's nicely bright, but not neon. I can't wait to wear it on my toes at the beach!

This is two flawless coats. It is nearly a one coater and is perfectly even in one coat, just a little less opaque. It applied perfectly and has a nice glossy finish even without top coat (although I did use top coat in these photos).

daniPRO First Kiss Red is a bold red creme. This is a bright, true red, without any orange or blue tones. Just a great classic red lip kind of red.

First Kiss Red had the same fantastic formula as My Girl Pure Pink. It's almost a one coater and applied with little effort. Like My Girl, I did two coats of First Kiss for these photos.

daniPRO polish is available globally at select podiatrist offices as well as online at www.DaniProNails.com.  The website also has some healthy nail tips from the podiatrist who created the line, Dr. Evans, as well as special seasonal offers and new product news. Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 47!

*Sent for review*

Wooohoooo happy Friday!! Are my U.S. readers ready for Fourth of July weekend??! Any good plans for the day off? I think I might have some iced cream... Lynnderella Iced Cream Aqua, that is! Iced Cream Aqua is a new pale blue shimmery LE with darker aqua shimmer flecks. Lynnderella describes it as a "translucent pastel aqua blue shimmerella that features lilac and cyan shimmers with multishimmer and a lilac glow". This is totally unique in my collection and right up my alley!

This was two coats, the second one was a little on the thicker side to offer more coverage. It has a lovely formula, very easy to apply and nicely even.

Lynnderella Funny Honey is a warm honey colored microglitter/shimmer hybrid. It is nicely holographic in the sunlight and the buttery toffee color should be flattering on a wide range of skin tones. It's not so warm that it looks brash, just nice and glowy.

This is two easy coats. Great application and formula! Because it is a microglitter/shimmer, it's pretty smooth with only one layer of top coat.

Lynnderella Tickled Blue is another microglitter/shimmer hybrid in a great shade of royal blue. It also has accents of red holo microglitter. It is perfect for Independence Day here in the U.S.! Tickled Blue has a companion shade called Red Letter Day. Red Letter Day is red holo microglitter with cobalt blue accents, so kind of like the reverse of Tickled Blue! I don't have that one, but I might have to get it.

This is two coats. It had great coverage. It was maybe a little thicker than some other Lynns, but not too bad and not hard to apply at all.

Lynnderella Mr. Ex is another new LE and I can honestly say that I did not expect to like this one. It has teeny micro bar glitters and I am usually not a fan of any bar glitter. However, I LOVE this!! Besides the teeny bars, it also has aqua microglitter and mini hearts. I love those dang mini hearts! The bars are so holo and sparkly in this that it really works for me. Mr. Ex is Lynnderella's first divorce themed mani, so if that's something you're going through right now, you can have a polish tailored to all of the emotions you must be feeling.

The best part of this- this is only one coat of Mr. Ex over OPI Sailing & Nailing! It was so easy to apply and get it to be evenly covered.

These glittery goodies are available at lynnderella.com, the Lynnderella eBay store, and Lynnderella StorEnvy. Don't forget to enter my Lynnderella giveaway to win a $30 Lynnderella gift card and 4 amazing polishes!!
