My Picks from Essie Bustling Bazaar Summer 2020!

I have one more batch summer polishes for you today before we get into fall! These three polishes from Essie Bustling Bazaar Summer 2020 just had to be mine, so I picked them up on Polishpick.com. First up, we have Essie Bustling Bazaar, the most perfect turquoise creme. This is a stunning blue-green, with emphasis on the green. It's one of those colors that reminds me of tropical waters. This is my favorite mainstream brand polish of summer 2020!

This is two flawless coats. The formula was great and if your nails are shorter, it may even be a one-coater for you. I did not have any staining with this when I wore it on my toes for 2 weeks, but I did use a good base coat.

I always like Essie purples, I do tend to buy them a lot. Play Date is one of my favorites and I loved Spring in Your Step from this spring, so I had to get Essie Worth the Tassel. This is kind of like a more saturated, brighter Play Date. It has the same balanced undertones, not too blue, not too red/pink, but packs a colorful punch for summer.

This is also two easy coats. Worth the Tassel was nicely pigmented and lovely to apply. As I said in my spring Essie post, I really love the Essie brush now!

I had to get Essie Kaf-tan because it's such an unusual shade! Kaf-tan reminds me of butterscotch candies and fall more so than summer. This is a warm earthy ochre with a good mix of brown and yellow. I thinks this would make a great base for some fall nail art.

Two coats for this one too. These all have an excellent formula.

Did you grab anything from the Essie Bustling Bazaar collection? I have my eye on a few from the fall collection too!

Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 83!

*Sent for review*

Happy March everyone! Meteorological spring has begun and I am so ready for it. I have some gorgeous Lynns for you today, some very spring-y colors and some great for year round. Some of these polishes are not available in the eBay store, so make sure to join The Glitter Fairies group on Facebook for special exclusives, like Lynnderella Candy Buffet. Candy Buffet is a gorgeous shimmery red with hints of maraschino cherry pink and red holo microglitter accents. This is a really glowy red, almost with a blue shine to it.

This is two coats, very easy to apply. It's nice and smooth since it's mostly shimmer-based.

Lynnderella Well Red has red metallic flakes mixed with new red nanoglitter. This is a very interesting finish, the combo of flakes and nanoglitter gives a lot of depth to the polish. If you are a red fan, this is a must have for sure.

Two coats, but you could almost get away with one coat, and you only need one layer of top coat. This is a great formula, very effortless to use.

Lynnderella Aqua Bella is a special polish in memory of a Glitter Fairy, Christina Joy Marsden. She was very active in the Glitter Fairies group, as well as in several other polish groups, but very sadly passed away from cancer recently. Lynnderella describes Aqua Bella as an "aqua holographic microoglitter accented with silver holographic four-pointed stars and ice blue metallic mini hearts. Clear base with hot pink shimmer". All profits from this special polish will be donated to the American Cancer Society in the name of Christina Joy Marsden. This was a pretty limited edition polish and bottles were given to Christina's family and close friends first, but if you would like one, I would suggest contacting Lynnderella to see if there are any left.

This is two coats. I did use two layers of top coat, just to bring out the shine. It is a lot more holo than my photos show too, just a stunning polish!

Next up we have the gorgeous Lynnderella As Blue as Violet Could Be. This is a deep violet holographic microglitter accented with glowing blue iridescent accent glitter. It reminds me of a very deep night sky with sparkly stars.

Two easy coats and one layer of top coat. It was pretty smooth to the touch.

I think Lynnderella Matcha Mint is my favorite of this group of polishes. This is just a pretty mint holo microglitter, pretty simple, but refreshing after all of the dark winter polishes I've been wearing. This is exactly what I want to wear on my nails right now!

This is (again) two effortless coats! Maybe a possible one-coater depending on application. One layer of top coat is plenty.

Lynnderella Choco-Lovely is a "pink-shimmered brown holographic nanoglitter with assorted red and magenta accents". The pink shimmer is even stronger in person. This makes me think of a tasty dessert, maybe like a nice chocolate cupcake! I wore this with Matcha Mint and they made a really fun combo together, like a mint chocolate chip ice cream sundae.

Two coats and one layer of top coat!

Lynnderella Purriwinkle is GORGEOUS! It's SO crazy holographic and the shade of lavender/periwinkle is very unique. Lynnderella describes it as "blue-violet-shimmered periwinkle holographic microglitter with iridescent fire opal accents". Those fire opal accents are so cool and shift to many different colors. My first picture above is a little blown out, but I wanted to show off the holo. In the pictures below, you can see the fire opal accents a bit better.

Two coats and two layers of top coat. One layer of top coat was good, but I wanted the finish to be like glass to really highlight the holographic flare.

If these are not available at the eBay store, definitely feel free to email Lynnderella to ask about availability!

2017 Lynnderella Advent Polishes, Part 1!

*Sent for review*

It's the most wonderful time of the year- Lynnderella Advent season! I love Lynnderella's tradition of releasing Advent polishes, it's a fun countdown to Christmas every year. This year she decided to release them a little earlier than the actual day so that if you buy one, you can have it in time to wear on the actual date. First up is Lynnderella 12-6-17 Rose Brûlée. This was actually my Thanksgiving day mani, it felt festive and fun for the day. Rose Brûlée is a gorgeous vampy plum shimmer with brighter pink shimmer. It really glows from within and looks kind of burnt around the edges. Love it!

This is two coats of Rose Brûlée and one layer of top coat. Look at that sexy smolder!

This stunning holographic blue treat is Lynnderella 12-2-17 Over the River. Lynnderella describes this as a "holographic blue microglitter with vivid cyan metallic flakes". It's a really electric shade of blue, and despite the fact that I have many many blue glitters in my collection, this stands out from the crowd thanks to it's brightness and how much the holo flare really pops.

Application for this one was really perfect too. It was so easy to apply and totally opaque in two coats. Could even be a one coater if you do slightly thicker coats than I do. I used two layers of top coat just to accentuate the shine, it is pretty smooth with one layer.

The ultimate in holiday glitter polish, Lynnderella 12-4-17 Hollo-Grammy! is a silver holo nanoglitter with red and green accents, as well as red and green shimmer. It is so festive looking and will definitely be part of my Christmas mani! I know some people like non-traditional holiday colors and that's fine, but I do like a good silver with red and green for the occasion.

This is two coats and one layer of top coat. It is nice and smooth since it's nanoglitter and it was very easy to apply.

Lynnderella 12-8-17 Making MerriMint is a pretty soft mint shimmer with pink holo microglitter accents. This reminds me of salt water taffy or something, it makes me think of mint candy! The pink accents in this are very cute and make it more unique.

This is three thin coats. The first coat seemed pretty sheer, but then by the second coat it really started to build up. I'm wearing this as a full mani right now and only did two coats, just slightly thicker ones than I did in this swatch. One layer of top coat and you're good to go.

Lynnderella brought the festive with this one! Lynnderella 12-10-17 Kissmas Party is a "multiglitter topper made with green, red, silver and gold glitters, holographic microglitter, metallic and matte red lips. Clear base with shifty green shimmer". It's a fun mix of glitter and just perfect as a topper to make any color feel like Christmas.

This is one coat of Kissmas Party over Making MerriMint. It was easy to get a good selection of glitters and a nice even coating of holo microglitter. I didn't get any of the lip glitter in this swatch, but I have one on my thumb right now! The glitters in this lay pretty flat, so I just used one layer of top coat.

Lynnderella 12-12-17 First Night is a great mix of holo microglitter, circle glitter in gold, white, and various blue shades, and beautiful four pointed stars in two different sizes. When layered over a dark color, it really gives the impression of a night sky. The mix of colors in this is very pretty and would look fantastic over a wide variety of base colors. I can really see this over a baby blue creme too.

This is just one coat of First Night over OPI C.I.A. Color Is Awesome. It was easy to apply and I didn't have to fish for any of the larger glitters. Again, the glitters lay pretty flat, so I just used one layer of top coat.

Lynnderella Advent polishes are available now in her eBay store. If you don't see what you're looking for in the store, you can always email lynnderellalacquer@gmail.com to check on availability.
