Zoya Party Girls Winter/Holiday Swatches, Part 2!

*Sent for review*

Today I have the second half of the lovely Zoya Party Girls collection. Like the first half, these colors are great year round, they are not really holiday specific. So if you didn't order these before the holidays and are regretting it now, no worries, you can wear these any time! For example, Zoya Kelsey is a great Barbie fuchsia creme that is perfect now, great for spring, and works well in the summer. Zoya describes this as a "muted cerise pink". It's not that muted really, but it's not super bright either. Kelsey will look lovely on all sorts of skin tones.

This is two easy coats and the formula is great. This is a pretty standard pink color, but if you're looking for one with great application, you can't go wrong here.

Zoya Danielle is a very interesting shade of blue, more unique than I was expecting. Danielle is a dark periwinkle and has lots of purple and gray mixed in with the blue. While it has a lot of purple-y tones, it still manages to be mostly blue and not what I would call a "blurple" (remember when that term was being thrown around constantly?). Love that Zoya took periwinkle and made it into a darker, moodier shade!

Two perfect coats, no fuss here! I also had no staining when I removed this, although I only had it on for a short time to swatch.

Zoya Isadora is a jewel-toned wine purple shimmer with hints of magenta. It is described as "rich, refined pearl in magenta plum". The shimmer is a really smooth glowy kind, very soft and not chunky. This is nice and vampy, but not so dark that it looks black. The magenta in the base color really helps the shade not get too murky looking.

This is two coats. I thought the consistency was a bit on the thin side. Be careful not to load up your brush too much, or it will flood your cuticles.

Zoya Landon is a rich purple creme, described as a "mysterious, deep aubergine cream". It's not too deep though, so it still provides a nice pop of color. It's pretty well balanced between red and blue based, so it will be flattering for a variety of skin tones.

Two coats, nice pigmentation. Zoya's creme formula is so consistent lately, they just have really perfected it over the years.

I wrote in my notes that Zoya Delaney reminds me of spring irises and it really fits. It's that exact shade of purple iris flowers. Depending on the light and the angle of your nails, you will also see flashes of blue, green, and some silver. Zoya calls this one a "royal multichromatic (pewter, blue, purple, green), metallic flip". The multichrome effect isn't overly strong, but it's there for sure and quite pretty. Almost like a soft multichrome.

Delaney was a bit sheer on the first coat, but started to build up nicely after the second. I did use three thin coats here for the best coverage. The formula is easy to apply, but you may see a brushstroke here and there.

Ahhhhh man, Zoya Blake is my spirit color right now. Blake is the color you wear when the holidays are over and the dark gross month of January has begun (I hate January, can you tell?). It's dark and moody, but has a gorgeous shimmer that lifts your mood a little. Blake is a deep navy sapphire with a smooth light golden shimmer. Love this one so much!

This is two coats. Application was very easy, no complaints here at all!

My favorites from this half of the Party Girls collection are Blake and Danielle. Overall, I think this collection was very well curated and the shades are lovely for parties, but also for daily life throughout the year. This makes the Party Girls collection a very solid buy for your polish wardrobe. Check out my swatches of the first half of the collection here.

CrowsToes Indian Summer Raindrop Mani!

*Purchased by me*

Hi everyone, happy hump day! I wanted to share a mani I wore over the weekend, I really enjoyed wearing this one. I've been dying to try one of those raindrop manis with a matted multichrome polish and shiny raindrops, and I've also had CrowsToes Indian Summer on my list of polishes to wear for awhile. Indian Summer is a beautiful multichrome that shows colors ranging from a deep indigo, to rich purple, to a red-pink. It's a gorgeous polish and I was very entertained watching it shift in different lighting.

This is two coats of Indian Summer. It was easy to apply, I had a little balding when I went to apply the second coat, but I didn't wait for my first coat to dry completely. I would recommend waiting in between coats. I used OPI Matte Top Coat to mattify it and then dotted Vapid Lacquer QDTC on for the raindrops. I used an old bottle of the Vapid TC and it has thickened up a lot, so the raindrops definitely didn't come out perfectly. I would use a newer TC next time to make those perfect looking drops. Overall, I like the effect though, and it was a fun mani to wear.

CrowsToes Indian Summer will be available when CrowsToes re-opens on Friday, February 10. This is the original version of Indian Summer, but it will now be available in four different finishes- Original, Sparked (scattered holo), Linear Holo (self explanatory) and Bleached Holo (densely packed linear holo). I'll be ordering the Sparked version, it's so pretty with just a touch of holo! Zoya Ignite Fall 2014 Swatches!

 *Sent for review*

The Zoya Ignite collection is the fall nail polish collection I've been looking forward to the most. Something about the mix of colors with the shimmering finish really gets me excited for fall. Well, I can tell you that these beauties did not disappoint! All but one of these was perfectly opaque in two coats and a breeze to apply. I will point out the only one that needed 3 coats when I get to it.

Zoya India is a "deep, luxurious red with a gold liquid metallic shimmer" according to Zoya. That's a perfect description. India is a very luxe looking rich red, with a smattering a gold shimmer. This one really makes me think of Christmas. I will definitely be pulling it out around then!

Zoya Yuna is my second favorite of the Ignite collection. Yuna is a warm, smoky grey with gold and copper shimmer. The mix of gold, copper and warm grey makes it look a little greenish grey in some lights, and I love that. I don't think I captured the greenish effect as strongly in the photos, but it's there in person. You can see a bit of it on the ring and pinky nails in the picture above.

Yuna is really unique and I think it's a must have for any grey polish lover. It's not really a neutral, conservative grey, but I like that!

I am a big sucker for copper polish year round, but especially in the fall. It's no surprise that I love Zoya Autumn. Autumn is a glowing copper with gold shimmer. The gold shimmer in this one is really neat. You can almost see each piece of shimmer mixed in with the copper base. I included the picture below even though it's a bit blurry because I think it shows off the gold shimmer.

Autumn is perfect for a fall collection. It's named Autumn and it's the color of the leaves falling from the trees. It makes me think of pumpkin picking and apple cider! In fact, I will probably wear this pumpkin picking.

Zoya Sansa is a deep blue-based purple with gold shimmer. The gold shimmer in this looks more gold in the bottle. On the nail, it looks like a white gold shimmer, maybe just a hint of yellow gold. Zoya calls Sansa a "deep eggplant with gold metallic sparkle". It is seriously sparkly!

I did need three coats of Sansa. As always, I will tell you that I do thin coats, so you may be fine with two. I just found the first coat to be a little streaky, and though the second coat was near opaque, I thought the third coat would really bring out the beauty of the polish. The formula was great, just like the others. These are a really nice consistency and very easy to work with.

Zoya Teigen is a pinkish red with copper shimmer, or as Zoya calls it a "pink-toned cranberry with copper liquid metal". Teigen looks very fuchsia on me, maybe like a bright cranberry. The copper shimmer is very apparent in the bottle, but once it's on the nail, it looks kind of like a paler gold shimmer. Teigen is bright enough that I feel like I could still wear it now, while I'm wearing summer shades, but it's also a lovely year round polish.

And now for my favorite of the bunch and a polish that will live on my nails this fall (and I might possibly need a back up!), Zoya Remy. Remy is a gorgeous jewel-like indigo with gold and copper shimmer. As in Yuna, the combination of gold and copper results in a greenish tinge sometimes. In some lights, Remy looks almost like a blackened teal. Blue is probably my favorite polish color, it's certainly the color I own the most of, and Remy has just shot straight to my #1 blue. If you like blue polish, get this now. If you're thinking it looks similar to other blue shimmers you might own, think again. Remy has much more dimension and it much richer than any other blue shimmer I have.

I just had a craving to see Remy with matte top coat, so here you are! You can kind of see a hint of that greenish tinge I mentioned in this picture. I love it shimmery and matte!

The Zoya Ignite collection definitely lives up to my high expectations. I love this collection and there isn't a bad polish in it. Typically, I tell you my favorites of the collection, although I feel a bit silly this time since my favorites are most of the collection! They are Remy, Yuna, Autumn and Sansa. But I wouldn't want to leave India and Teigen behind either! Well done Zoya!

Zoya Entice Fall 2014 Swatches!

 *Sent for review*

Yayyyyy, I'm back!! I'm back with nubs, but I'm back! At least my nails are an even length now, and vaguely fit for blogging. I have so much awesome stuff to show you and I'm starting off with the Zoya Entice collection. Entice is a fantastic collection of rich fall colors, like burgundy, chocolate brown and berry. This collection of 6 nail polishes includes 5 cremes and one shimmer. First up, we have Zoya Claire, a warm burgundy creme. Claire is a mix of a little bit vampy, a little bit classic. This polish is a darkened crimson, but it's clearly deep red (even in low light) and I wouldn't call it blackened at all. It has maybe just a hint of brown tone in it as well.

This is two coats of Claire. The formula was a great consistency and I found it to be well-pigmented.

Brown seems to be taking the world by storm this fall. Zoya had three great brown cremes in the Naturel Deux collection and now Zoya Nyssa, a lovely milk chocolate brown creme. Nyssa is a really rich, warm brown. If you're wondering how it compares to Chanelle from the Naturel Deux collection, it is a deeper brown and more warm-toned, although not orange-y at all. Nyssa is really more of the kind of color you would see in a fall leaf pile, whereas Chanelle is more of a neutral nude polish (on the right skin tone of course).

This is two coats of Nyssa and again, the formula and pigmentation were excellent. Keep up the good work on your cremes Zoya!

Zoya Genevieve is a really gorgeous steel blue-grey polish with subtle shimmer. Zoya says it's a creme finish, but there is definitely shimmer. In full sunshine, it's very visible, but I could still see it indoors. I love this stormy, moody blue-grey! Genevieve is deep and smoky, but light enough that you can really appreciate the gorgeous color. (Apologies for the middle nail here, there was a top coat mishap that I couldn't see in person, but my camera really captured it, yikes!).

I used three coats of Genevieve for these pictures. The formula was good and it was nearly opaque in two coats. I thought the third coat made it pop more, but if you do thicker coats, you will probably find that two is just fine.

Zoya Margo is a red purple creme, a really pretty color to add to a fall collection. Margo is a bit hard to capture on camera, it was more purple in person. These pictures make it look more fuchsia. The picture on Zoya's website isn't right either, that looks like such a standard purple creme. Imagine a mix between my pictures and the ones on Zoya.com. It's definitely a rich red plum color, not pink, but heavy on the red undertones. If you like red purples, you will love this one! I do!

This is two coats of Zoya Margo. The formula was excellent and two coats was the perfect level of opacity.

Ahhh!!!! I just freak out a little every time I see this one! Zoya Ryan is my favorite of the Entice collection! Zoya calls Ryan a "classic indigo" creme, but it's really the loveliest indigo creme I've ever seen. It's so smooth and rich, it looks like indigo velvet. I am still wearing summer polish (it's 87 degrees here today!), but Ryan is "enticing" me to wear some fall colors! I love that this is dark, but you can definitely see the blue in every lighting situation. Gorgeous!!

This is three coats of Ryan. Again, it was almost perfect in two coats, but I sometimes think the third coat just makes everything look even better. I tend to do thin coats though. The formula was good, maybe a hair on the thin side, but not problematic at all.

Zoya Veronica is a luxe feeling berry creme. I remember a few years ago in the fall, "berry" was a really hot color and I couldn't seem to find my perfect berry. Well, Veronica is definitely my perfect berry polish. It's a classic purple-toned medium red that will be flattering on a wide variety of skin tones. Zoya calls it a "brilliant red wine". I tend to think of wine as a bit darker, but this is maybe like a bright wine. Or a red wine stain on a white tablecloth. This will be a perfect fall polish for years to come, one of those that will never go out of style.

This is two coats of Veronica, great formula and pigmentation!

I've been so excited about the Zoya Ignite collection (swatches soon!) that I kind of was ignoring the Entice collection. I'm never too excited about cremes, but after swatching these, I really can't wait to wear them! There isn't a bad one in the bunch and the colors really scream autumn to me. I typically wait until the first official day of fall to do a fall mani, but I'm not sure I can wait that long. My top picks in this collection are Ryan, Genevieve and Margot, but honestly, I wouldn't want to leave the others behind either!
