Barielle Me Couture Collection For Fall 2014, Part 1!

*Sent for review*

The Barielle Me Couture collection for Fall 2014 is a great little selection of six perfect-for-fall shades. I have three of those to show you today. Barielle Vintage Gown is a fawn colored creme with a hint of pink shimmer. Vintage Gown is a really perfect neutral, just so cozy looking! I love the shimmer, it definitely sets this apart from other warm neutrals. Inside, the shimmer is less obvious, but you can still see it in most lights. It doesn't look obviously pink, but it adds a lot of dimension to the polish.

This is two coats of Vintage Gown and the formula was great. So easy to work with and nicely opaque. Yay for non-boring neutrals!

Barielle Soho at Night is a grape purple creme. Soho at Night isn't too dark, just a nice rich purple. On the nail, this looks much lighter than it does in the bottle. It looks dark and murky in the bottle, but it's more of a jewel toned purple.

This is three coats. I seemed to be having some opacity and streaking issues, but only on some nails. The formula seemed a lot thinner than the other polishes in this collection. I did read a few other reviews saying that this was opaque in three thin coats, so I might have gotten a bad bottle. It did seem so different from the other two I swatched at the same time, and also from other Barielles.

Barielle Boho Chic is a lovely deep teal green creme. Boho Chic makes me think of the green in peacock feathers, it's a gorgeous shade for polish. I think this is my new favorite deep teal. Some darkened teals come out too green, too blue or just too dark. But not Boho Chic, it is clearly teal in all lighting and has the perfect balance of blue and green.

This is just two coats and the formula was excellent. Easy to work with and great pigmentation. I'll be wearing this a lot this fall!

I should have the other three polishes from the Barielle Me Couture collection up for you on Thursday. I had a hard time swatching last week (we had a LOT of rain), so I don't have a lot prepared!

The Barielle Me Couture collection is available now at Barielle.com.
