Polish of the Week: China Glaze Reggae to Riches

China Glaze Reggae to Riches, three coats, no flash

We've gotten off track with Polish of the Week lately! I've been so busy and also trying to fit in a little relaxing time that I've let that feature slide for two or three weeks! Ahh!

But never fear, Polish of the Week is back with China Glaze Reggae to Riches, a lovely red-purple jelly with blue duochrome effect. HOT! I would call the color fuchsia with blue duochrome, but I feel like "fuchsia" is one of those colors that everyone has a very specific concept of and everyone's concept is different LOL (like "coral", have you noticed that everyone's definition of "coral" is different?). Anyway, the blue flash makes this polish totally unique in my collection. The blue flash was also a little hard to capture properly, I feel like it's more noticeable in person. That's why I took the picture below with flash, so you can clearly see the blue.

The formula of Reggae to Riches is pretty good. The first coat was a little streaky and I had some bare patches, but that was easily fixed with the second and third coats. There is a little bit of VNL in some lights, but as this is a jelly polish, that's pretty much to be expected.

China Glaze Reggae to Riches is available at your local Sally Beauty Supply store or online at Transdesign.
