Different Dimension Fatigued

*Purchased by me*

Hope you are all having a great weekend! I am relaxing and buying nail polish this weekend (Vapid restock, Color4Nails restock... too many goodies!!). For your viewing pleasure today, I have a Hella Holo Customs exclusive, Different Dimension Fatigued. This is one of the HHC exclusives for January and you actually still have time to join the group and order this if you love it as much as I do! The last day to order is January 31, so get moving!! Fatigued is a great army green holo with gold flakies and gold holo microglitters. The gold flakies and gold holo glitters are THE best part about this polish. You know when you get a cool linear holo, but it looks so lackluster in low lighting and indoors? Not this baby! The gold flakes really pop in lower lighting and the holo glitters offer a rainbow pop even when you are indoors and nowhere near the sun! I think you can see the flakies and glitter in the picture below.

This is two coats of Different Dimension Fatigued with one layer of top coat. It was pretty easy to apply, although on the first coat I had a little patchiness on one or two nails. Fortunately, that was all covered up with the second coat. I also don't think this formula cooperated well with my current base and top coat (Dr.'s Remedy Basic Base Coat and Vapid Lacquer QDTC). I had serious chipping after about 18 hours of wear. I am going to try again with a different combo of base and top coat, because I'm seriously in love with this color!

Different Dimension Fatigued is only available to members of Hella Holo Customs on Facebook. Head over there now and request to join! You won't regret it!

Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 68!

*Sent for review*

We made it to Friday again! Woohoo!! I have a seriously sparkly new polish to show you today. The stunning Lynnderella Palaver is described as "charcoal holographic nanoglitter with cyan, pink and bright green shimmer". This is a really unique grey holo super fine glitter and the different shimmer colors are visible on different angles and in different lighting situations. The glitter itself has a multidimensional look, it doesn't look like just charcoal glitter. It almost looks like silver glitter mixed with some teeny black flecks. This polish is honestly a lot cooler than my pictures are showing. The holo was so blinding, I think some of the detail of the polish is getting lost. I wore this as a full mani almost immediately after receiving it, it was SO gorgeous!

This is two coats of Palaver with one layer of top coat. It was nearly opaque enough in one coat, so if you do thicker coats, you may be able to get by with one. Since this is nano glitter, it's not that rough or bumpy, but when I wore this as a full mani, I did two layers of top coat. I just really wanted that extra shine. Lynnderella Palaver applied beautifully, very nice consistency.

Lynnderella Palaver is available now at http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella. More Lynnderella pretties are available at lynnderella.com.

Vapid Lacquer NPX-BPRO

*Purchased by me*

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I spent the weekend trying to recover from the stomach bug that hit me like a bus last week. Now, I normally hate to show you polishes that are no longer readily available for sale, but every once in awhile I just have to break my own rules. Vapid Lacquer NPX-BPRO is so beautiful that I just had to share it with you!! NPX stands for "nail polish experiment" and BPRO is simply blue, purple, red, orange. I can see all of those colors in various lighting and the shiftiness is awesome! The colors I see the most are blue and purple. I saw some pictures with a lot of teal shift, but I only see a tiny flash of teal.

NPX-BPRO has color-shifting flakies and shimmer. It was easy to apply and was perfectly opaque in just two coats.  It also wore like iron. I wore it for 5 days and had only a little bit of tip wear, no chips. I used Dr.'s Remedy Basic Base Coat (my current favorite) and Vapid Lacquer Quick Dry Top Coat.

The NPX series was just a one-time run, due to some ingredients not being available any longer. However, I have seen it for sale in the Vapid Facebook group, as well as Nearly No Rules. So if you look hard enough, you may be able to snag one!

Vapid will be launching some new pretties this Saturday (January 28), so check out http://vapid.mybigcommerce.com for more Vapid goodies.

Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 67!

 *Sent for review*

Happy Friday!! This is actually the first Lynnderella Friday of the new year, I had some post office delays that resulted in the Lynnderella packages coming a bit late. But I have a gorgeous Valentine's Day Lynn for you today called Lynnderella Cupid Sent Me. Cupid Sent Me is an orchid pink holo microglitter with holo pink hearts in assorted sizes and shades of pink. It's perfect for a little pop of pink Valentine's cheer. Love all the rainbow-y holo-ness!!

This is two easy coats. I didn't have to fish around for the hearts, but I can see smaller hearts in there and didn't get any of those this go round. Hopefully they come out to play next time I wear this. It was easy to apply. I did use two layers of top coat for glassy smoothness.

Lynnderella Cupid Sent Me. is available at http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella. Check out lynnderella.com for more gorgeous polish!

Sally Hansen Moisture Rehab Strengthener Review!

*Sent for review*

I am really excited about the product I have to tell you about today! This treatment gave me visible results after just 2 weeks of use. This miracle treatment is the new Sally Hansen Moisture Rehab. Sally Hansen has always had good nail treatments, but I think this is the best one yet for my nails. My nails get extremely dry and brittle, especially in the winter, and then the dryness leads straight to peeling and breaking. Sally Hansen Moisture Rehab takes aim at that exact problem, drenching your nails in moisture to prevent brittle, dry, breaking nails. According to Sally Hansen, the formula contains a "blend of black orchid, açai and algae actives and humectants" and  "helps hydrate and rejuvenate severely dry or weak nails".

I have been using Moisture Rehab for about 3 weeks total now, and after the first 2 weeks, I was sold. My nails are typically really short at this time of the year, thanks to the cold temperatures and tons of hand washing. But thanks to Moisture Rehab, I have managed to maintain a nice length for the past 3 weeks! And aside from the length, my peelies are drastically reduced and my nails just look and feel better. I have been applying this at night, even over polish. If I have bare nails, I will also apply it several times during the day. I apply a good amount to each nail, let it soak in for a minute, and then massage the rest into my nails. It really sinks in and provides immediate relief to my dry nails. I would highly recommend Moisture Rehab to anyone with dry, brittle nails!

Sally Hansen Moisture Rehab should be available in a drugstore near you now! For more Sally Hansen products, check out http://www.sallyhansen.com.

Zoya Naturel 3 Lipsticks, Swatches & Review!!

 *Sent for review*

Happy Friday readers!! I have swatches of the new lipsticks from Zoya Naturel 3 for you today! If you haven't tried Zoya lipsticks yet, you should definitely include one in your next order. I have tried a couple now and really love them! The formula is unscented and unflavored, so it is great for anyone with sensitivities to some of the overpowering lipstick scents. The Zoya Perfect lipsticks feel so comfortable on my dry lips, very creamy, yet lightweight somehow. Despite the creamy feel, I don't find them to slide around off of your lips at all.

These pictures are left to right- Zoya Cameron, Zoya Paisley, Zoya Maxwell.

(Bear with me on the lip swatches, I am no beauty blogger and it is winter so my lips are like lizard skin currently.) Zoya Cameron is a light nude cream. It is pretty light, even for my skin tone, but it has a nice warmth to it that prevents it from being corpse-like. I love a good nude lip with a smoky eye, so I will definitely be wearing this often. I used MAC Boldly Bare liner with this one and it was a good combo.

Zoya Paisley is a really nice blush rose cream. It offers a nice flattering dose of color, but still looks like a natural shade. I think this one will be flattering on most skin tones. I like lipsticks like this for daily wear, a nice pop to deepen your natural lip color. This kind of color just makes me look healthier and less tired! I used MAC Rosy Rim lip liner here and it went perfectly with Paisley. I just need to learn how to line my lips better....

Zoya Maxwell is a deep vampy red plum. It has more of a satin matte finish than the other two and also has some glitter flecks in it. I found that I didn't notice the glitter flecks unless the light caught them in a certain way, but you could feel them a bit on your lips. I love this color, so bold and dark! I think this one is the most unique of the three here, due to the matte finish with tiny glitter flecks. I used MAC Just Wonderful lip liner, and it wasn't the best pairing, it was too pink. I will have to look around for something a bit better for this one.

Zoya Perfect lipsticks are available at zoya.com!! Remember, Zoya is having the four free deal right now- if you pay the promotional shipping charge of $15, you can pick four free polishes or lipsticks. And you can do any combination of polishes and lipsticks, so you can get three polishes and one lipstick just to try them out. This offers ends 1/16, so start picking out your shades now!!

NerdLacquer Aureate

 *Purchased by me*

Did you know that January is the most depressing month of the year? I did for sure, it's my least favorite month by far. I hate when the holidays are over and winter seems like such a long, dark slog. To counteract the gloom this week, I decided to wear the blingiest polish I could get my hands on- NerdLacquer Aureate! Aureate is a spectacular warm gold glitter bomb. Amanda from NerdLacquer describes it as having a "super fined grained bronze metallic base, gold glitter, teeny black specks for contrast and depth". Its so warm and bright and is just like jewelry for your nails. I got a ton of compliments on it yesterday.

Despite being very glittery, this doesn't feel too rough. I did just one layer of top coat. For complete smoothness, I would probably recommend two layers. Aureate was also very smooth to apply and unlike many glitter polishes, it is wearing very well so far. I'm on day 3 and it stills looks perfect.

NerdLacquer Aureate is not on the NerdLacquer site, but you can order it by emailing Amanda at info@nerdlacquer.com. I am hoping she will make a silver with the exact same finish, I really love this!! Also, my order came crazily fast, I actually couldn't believe how fast.

Check out more NerdLacquer at nerdlacquer.com.

Zoya Naturel 3 Swatches!!

 *Sent for review*

January is my absolute least favorite month. I hate when the holidays are over, it's cold, the weather is gross, and it gets dark SO early. I try to look for little ways to lift my mood during this dark, dreary month, and happily, Zoya released this year's Naturel shades for me to enjoy! Zoya Naturel 3 offers cozy-looking neutral shades to help you transition from winter nail polish colors to spring shades. Aside from the great selection of colors here, look at these gorgeous Zoya boxes!! Aren't they so beautiful? And you don't have to worry about taking the polish out of the box to see which color it is, thanks to this nifty little opening in the bottom.

The first polish I tried in this collection was the lovely Zoya Debbie. Zoya Debbie is a chocolate-y plum creme. This shade is almost equal parts purple and brown, it's a really nicely balanced mix of the two hues. It's much more interesting than your standard brown creme, but still sophisticated and polished looking. In the month of January, I am still pretty much in winter nail polish mode, it's just too dreary around here to think of spring. Debbie fits the bill and makes me feel as cozy as a cup of hot chocolate.

This is two super easy coats. It was nearly a one-coater, some of you may find one coat to be just right. The formula was perfect and I didn't even need to do any clean-up! It was fairly shiny on it's own, but I did use one layer of Formula X Top Coat for all of the swatches in this post.

Zoya Jill is a really interesting mauve nude creme. This is not your grandmother's mauve, this is definitely an update on the color with a hint of edge. Zoya Jill has a dusty feel and a healthy dose of taupe/brown tones makes this a neutral shade. I like this shade a lot, even though it gave me some lobster hands... I am still going to wear it!

This is two coats. All of the polishes in this collection were so lovely to work with. There really wasn't a bad one in the bunch. They were nicely self-leveling and very opaque.

Zoya Gina is a described as a "medium brown neutral cream". This is a lovely brown creme with some yellow undertones. Zoya Gina is rich looking and a great neutral if you want a brown that isn't super dark.

This is two coats of Gina, but it could probably be a one-coater depending on your application. Great formula like the others!

OK this one is my favorite of the color and quite possibly my favorite neutral creme ever. Zoya Tatum is a light creamy warm nude. It's a yellow-toned neutral, which I always prefer on myself over pink toned neutrals, but it's sometime hard to find a good pale yellow-toned neutral. Zoya Tatum fits the bill and reminds me of vanilla ice cream mixed with some caramel sauce. Yum!

The other thing that makes Tatum my favorite? This is two coats! Totally opaque, absolutely no streaks at all, it's just gorgeous! I have a polish that is a similar shade to this and I've always like the color, but the other one is so streaky and such a pain to apply. What a treat to have a neutral creme this pale and have it apply so nicely!

Zoya Mary is another medium brown creme, but this one contains some purple-y raisin tones, rather than the yellow tones in Gina. It's a nice milk chocolate with a hint of mauve-y plum.

Two coats again here and same great formula.

Finally we have the lovely Zoya Cathy, a "light pinky nude creme". Zoya Cathy definitely has some pink tones, but I also see some hints of peach. I think those peach notes will make this flattering on some warmer skin tones too. It's a nice classic camel shade with a pink and peach twist. Safe for work, but not boring!

This is two coats. Like Tatum, I think I may have a similar shade somewhere in my collection, but I know it doesn't apply as flawlessly as this! Lighter neutrals can be a pain to work with, but not these. Not streaks, amazingly pigmented! And no clean-up needed!

*Sent for review*

My favorites of this collection are Tatum and Debbie, but you can't go wrong with any of these shades. If there are some calling your name, don't hesitate. These all apply beautifully and give me that cozy feeling I am looking for at this time of year. If you want to expand your neutral wardrobe, look no further than Zoya Naturel 3! I have the lipsticks to review for you as well very soon. Based on my first glance, they are lovely too!

The Zoya Naturel 3 collection is available now at zoya.com.
