Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 66!

 *Sent for review*

Wow, I can't believe it's the last Friday of 2016! I know everyone is pretty much over this year and ready to see it go, but I'm always a little sad to see the end of a year. For one thing, it means that my Christmas vacation is almost over and I have to stop eating cookies for breakfast. Tuesday is going to be a seriously rude awakening. Might as well indulge while I can, right?!? Today I have two indulgent Lynnderellas for you, including my NYE mani! First up we have Lynnderella Miss Celine, a pretty purple-y pink holo microglitter. This is one of a second series of Gilmore Girls lacquers. It seems like Gilmore Girls are everywhere right now and I have never seen a single episode. Truthfully, it doesn't seem like my kind of show. I am more into action-y shows (currently Netflix-binging "Arrow"). But I will happily wear these pretty polishes, not having a clue about what inspired them!!

This was two easy coats. It is generously pigmented and very smooth to apply. It just needed one layer of top coat for shine.

This magical unicorn polish is what I will be wearing for New Year's Eve tomorrow. Lynnderella 12-31-16 Happy New You! is a stunning lavender blue shimmer with a hot pink glow and silver holo sparkles. I can't really even describe the exact color of this, it varies a lot with lighting. Sometimes it is more of a silver blue, then other times it is clearly a lavender. The pink glow is gorgeous and clearly visible in brighter light and then the smattering of holo pigment just makes it all that much better!! Lynnderella describes this as "translucent lilac-leaning pastel blue with multishimmer and silver holographic nanoglitter". I didn't find it to be really translucent, but it definitely has kind of a glass-like look to it.

This is three thin coats, but you could probably do two thicker coats and it would still be opaque. Thanks to the nano glitter, this packs serious sparkle, but is perfectly smooth to the touch. I used top coat, but it was still fairly glossy alone. This may be one of my favorite Lynnderellas and polishes in general of 2016!!

Both of these lovelies are available now on http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella. Also, tomorrow is the last day of the huge sale over at lynnderella.com, so make sure you check that out!!

I probably won't post tomorrow, so please have a happy and healthy New Year's Eve!! I will be back soon with the Zoya Naturel collection, to cleanse our palates for 2017!

Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 65!

 *Sent for review*

Sorry so late with this post today, but this morning I had to go run out to battle to the death finish my Christmas shopping at the mall. I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve already! I hope all of my readers have a wonderful holiday season and spend some well-deserved time with loved ones. Today I have two more Lynnderella Advent polishes; sadly, we're getting down to the end of these! Lynnderella 12-24-16 Candy Kale is a perfect dark kale green shimmer with sparkly holo teal microgliter and some accent glitters in bright reds and other festive colors. I also saw some mini silver holo stars in there too (I actually got one on my middle nail but accidentally covered it- oops!). Candy Kale is such a gorgeous green, it's a very rich unique shade of green. All the holo sparkle doesn't hurt, either!

This is two coats and application was very easy. Although it looks super glittery, it actually is more smooth, thanks to the shimmer base. One layer of top coat is perfect for ideal smoothness and shine.

Lynnderella decided to carry on a bit past Christmas this year (no complaints here!), so we have Lynnderella 12-28-16 Fairyphenalia. Fairyphenalia is pretty much my ideal purple glitter polish. I don't think it gets better than this. It glows with a periwinkle/lavender shimmer and has an insane amount of holo sparkle. Lynn describes this one as a "blue violet shimmerella with holographic purple microglitter, electric blue micro flakes and cyan shimmer". I describe it as GORGEOUS!!!

Two coats to pure purple-loving joy here! Like Candy Kale, it is a smoother finish than it looks and just needs one layer of top coat.  Application was a total breeze and I didn't even need to do any clean-up.

This pretties are available now on http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella. You can also get more lovely Lynns at lynnderella.com.

What's Up Nails Pine Trees and Glitter

*Some items sent for review*

Can you believe it's nearly Christmas? I still have a lot of shopping to do, I've really left it a bit late this year! I'm on my way to get some gifts now, but wanted to show you my nails of the last few days.  I mentioned I had more What's Up Nails Christmas vinyls, and these pine trees are adorable!! I used a pine tree green Lynnderella Mystery polish that she just sent as a Christmas gift (thanks Lynn!!!) for all of my nails except the ring and thumb nails. This mystery is just gorgeous, it's such a rich green. For my accent nails, I used Sally Hansen Glow with the Flow and the What's Up Nails pine tree vinyls with the Lynnderella. I made the ornaments on the tree with the tiniest dotting tool I own and used Glow with the Flow and L'Oreal Silver Star.

These pine tree vinyls were super easy to use. If you are just starting out with nail vinyls, I would definitely recommend them. I think I have at least one more mani with Christmas vinyls coming up for you, I just can't get enough of them this year!

What's Up Nails Pine Tree vinyls are available at https://store.whatsupnails.com. This particular Lynnderella mystery polish is not available, but there are mysteries for sale in the store. Sally Hansen Glow with the Flow is available at a drugstore near you!

Christmas Trees and Reindeer Games!

*Lynnderella Holly Jolly Jammy sent as a gift, all other products purchased by me*

'Twas the Sunday before Christmas... OMG I can't believe it's already the Sunday before Christmas! I have so much shopping and baking to do, it's not even funny! I have my NOTD for the last few days to show you and I'm really enjoying wearing this one. For this mani, I used Vapid Lacquer Reindeer Games on my thumb, index, and pinkie nails, and then did two coats of OPI Angel with a Lead Foot on the other middle and ring nails. I used What's Up Nails Ribbon Tree vinyls and used Lynnderella Holly Jolly Jammy for the body of the tree and Lynnderella All Hallow's Gold for the stars.

Vapid Reindeer Games is amazing, by the way! It's the perfect Christmas red with a smattering of holo sparkles. I think I will have to wear it again, maybe for Christmas Day. The two Lynnderella worked beautifully for the tree and the star and the nail vinyls were incredibly easy to use. What's Up Nails really makes a great product, if you haven't tried them yet. They are perfect for the lazy nail artist, like myself.

I sported this festive look for decorating my Christmas tree, as well as some of the Christmas parties at work. I have some more What's Up Nails vinyls for the Christmas season, so this isn't the last vinyl mani you'll see from me this year.

The Vapid store is closed until the new year, so you can't get Reindeer Games right now. Maybe check around in some Facebook groups in case someone is selling it. Lynnderella All Hallow's Gold (my custom) is available now on the Lynnderella eBay store. Holly Jolly Jammy was a Christmas gift from Lynnderella last year, so that's unavailable as well. Happily, you can nab the ribbon tree vinyls at What's Up Nails, along with other fantastic Christmas vinyls.

Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 64!!

*Sent for review*

Happy Friday everyone! If you are a school teacher, you have my support for whatever you went through the past week and still have to face next week. The kids I teach are in FULL Christmas mode and have no capacity for learning right now. It was a LONG week! But I have two gorgeous Lynnderella Advent polishes to show you today to hopefully make up for the long week. Lynnderella 12-15-16 Pink Licorice is a deep velvety purple with hot pink shimmer. Lynnderella says it is black with hot pink shimmer, so maybe the pink just makes the black look purple to my eyes, but it is deliciously vampy either way. The hot pink just glows from within the dark base!

This is two easy coats. It was nicely opaque in two coats and the formula was great.

Lynnderella 12-20-16 Royal Icing is a very cool electric blue shimmer with bright turquoise shimmer and teal holo nanoglitter,  The royal blue color is just beautiful and very saturated. Nanoglitter is my new favorite thing because you get all of the fun of holo microglitter with none of the lumpy bumpy possibilities, it's just so smooth and pretty!! The turquoise shimmer really stands out more in person too, it's lovely and makes this polish unique.

This is also two coats of Royal Icing. It's very smooth to apply and nicely opaque in two coats.

You can get these two beauties at http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella and check out additional Lynnderella lacquers at lynnderella.com.

CrowsToes Betelgeuse

 *Purchased by me*

Oh man what stunning polish!! Get out those drool napkins for this one, kids! Feast your eyes on the delight that is CrowsToes Betelgeuse! Betelgeuse is described as "dark ultramarine/aqua blue based multichrome that shifts through a range of magenta purple to coppers to greens packed with an over the top mix of multichrome flakey madness with a bit of spark added for fun". The base is kind of a smoky blue that turns purple and hot pink depending on the light. Then the flakies come in to play, adding a multitude of other colors, including a gorgeous strong green flash. On top of all of that, there is a dusting of holo sparkles! Such an amazing polish!

This is three thin coats. It could be opaque in two, depending on your application. The formula was very good, pretty easy to apply despite the complexity of the polish. Having the multichrome base really makes this more opaque overall, rather than just having a lot of flakies in a clear base. I think that's why this polish packs such a shifty punch!

I love that CrowsToes polishes are never sold out or impossible to get. Lauri pretty much keeps things available for as long as there is a demand and I think that's amazing. That means you can go get Betelgeuse! It's on the site now, but the shop is only going to be open on weekends right now. So this weekend, head on over to http://crowstoesnailcolor.bigcartel.com and grab yourself some Betelgeuse!

Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 63!

 *Sent for review*

Another work week nearly in the books! I have my first full weekend off since September this weekend and I'm pretty excited about it. No big plans, but I did get my Christmas tree, so I have to decorate it for sure! And I might finally go see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. But first we have some beautiful Lynnderella Advent polishes to check out, starting with my new obsession, Lynnderella 12-10-16 HoliBae. Now, I typically detest the usage of the word "bae", but the name does not extinguish my love for this polish. HoliBae is a stunning hyacinth purple with silver holo nano glitter and the most excellent hot pink shimmer. This is not subtle shimmer, it's highly noticeable PINK shimmer! The pink shimmer and sheer volume of sparkly nano glitter really set this polish about from other purples I own. I LOVE this!

Just when I thought this couldn't get any better, this is just two coats and the formula was amazing. Effortless application. Because the holo glitter is of the nano variety, it is perfectly smooth with one layer of top coat. No gritty glitter here.

This sweet little treat is Lynnderella 12-11-16 Holiday Cupcake. Holiday Cupcake is described as "rosy holographic nanoglitter with pink shimmer. Rose-pink base." I am really enjoying Lynnderella's use of nano glitter. It is just as sparkly, if not more sparkly, than regular sized holo glitter, but it is so smooth. It doesn't eat top coat, so it ends up looking so shiny and lush! I have many pink holo glitters, but this one definitely takes 1st place among them.

Two coats again and lovely formula! And isn't the cupcake drawing on the label so cute??

These are both available on http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella now, along with the other Advent polishes that have been released so far. Check out lynnderella.com as well for more goodies.
