Zoya Sunsets Collection Summer 2016 Swatches!!

*Sent for review*

Happy Monday and Memorial Day readers! Hope my US readers are enjoying the day off! It's gloomy and rainy here today, but I have a Helmer to build, so I'll stay occupied! Today I have the Zoya Sunsets collection for you, the creme part of their summer offerings. Now Zoya has been marketing these as one coat cremes, and they could be applied with one thick coat, but I found two thin coats to be preferable. They are quite nicely opaque though. Zoya Liv is an orchid purple creme. It's a magenta/red-toned purple, my favorite kind (versus the blue-toned purples). It's nicely bright, but also rich-looking.

This is two easy coats. The formula on of these was overall lovely. Just the right consistency and very opaque.

This gorgeous blue stunner is Zoya Dory (awwww Dory!!). Dory is a bright vibrant forget-me-not blue creme. I am a such sucker for blues, especially in the summer!!

This is two coats. It applied well, but I got a little bit of a streak on my middle nail and then couldn't seem to even it out. Maybe wait until the first coat is totally dry before applying the second with this one.

*Sigh* this is just so perfect. If I had to imagine the perfect green polish for spring and summer, Zoya Ness is it! Zoya describes this one perfectly, calling it a "Softened jade green with a hint of blue to make it wearable for all skin tones. Reminiscent of sea glass found on your favorite beaches!". It definitely reminds me of sea glass! As a kid, I loved finding beautiful green sea glass, tumbled smooth by the waves, especially at my favorite beach on Nantucket (Jetties!).

Two coats, great formula!!

Zoya Cam is a glossy bright tangerine orange with juicy red tones. This one is so bright, it's bordering on a neon, but is richer looking and not as chalky as most neons. This is going on my toes ASAP!

Two easy coats. Cam was a little less opaque than some of the others, but I liked the juicy feeling it had. Almost like a really opaque jelly.

Zoya Dixie is a great summer color, a mix of red, pink and hints of orange. Like Cam, this one is nearly bright enough to be a neon, but it has that glossy, squishy feeling to it. Zoya calls it a "juicy watermelon red". It definitely has some hot pink to it as well.

Two coats of course, and this was nicely pigmented and easy to apply. It maintains the squishy feel, like Cam, almost like a super opaque jelly. Very pretty! Cam and Dixie are going to fight over who goes on my toes first.

Zoya Brynn is a bright blue-toned pink. It joins the family of almost neon, but not quite. It's also nicely jelly-like and reminds me a bit of a certain pair of hot pink jelly sandals I had as a kid. This is a perfect bright summer pink.

Brynn has a buttery formula, lovely to apply! Like the others, I did two thin coats.

Oooooh, picking favorites out of these six is rough!! I love them all and they are just the kind of colors I want to wear in the summer. An MDW Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 44!

*Purchased by me*

Alright US readers, who is ready for a three day weekend??? I know I am! This weekend is Memorial Day weekend (MDW) here in the US, for anyone who doesn't know. It is the unofficial start to the summer, and of course, a time to thank our veterans and military families. Lynnderella Looks Like a Picnic will be my mani this Memorial Day. It's a festive mix of red, white and blue glitters, perfect for the holiday. There are stars, bars, circles, hexes, triangles, and more fun shapes. The glitters are both matte and shiny.

This looks perfect over a white base. I used OPI Angel with a Lead Foot. This is just one coat of Looks Like a Picnic over the OPI. It was easy to apply with the dabbing method.

Lynnderella Eeyore's New Tale is a new LE with grey and purple glitter, maybe a deep "gravender", as they say. Lynnderella says it has "small dove grey glitter with lilac holographic glitter accents in a clear muted purple base". It's a lovely neutral feeling purple. The holo sparkle in this is insane!! It's so rainbow-y, I love it!

See the holo going crazy? Awesome! This is two super easy coats.

I'm continuing with my Lynnderella re-swatch project. The Garden of Even is one of my favorite older Lynns. This one is a core polish from my favorite Lynn collection ever- Sweet Somethings for a Summer Solstice. It has a sheer pinky purple base with purple holo glitters.

I used two-ish dabbed coats of The Garden of Even over Zoya Liv (from the Sunsets collection, swatches soon!). My bottle of this Lynn is from the original 2012 release and it still applied very well!

*Purchased by me*

Lynnderella AquaMan Candy is another older core polish from the Once Upon a Prince and More Man Candy collection. Lynn describes it as "cyan-shimmered cyan base saturated with cyan glitters with red, pink, white and green accents. Perfect for mermaids and mermen.". I love the mix of cyan glitters with a little pop of red, pink and green!

This is one dabbed coat over Zoya Dory (also from the Sunsets collection!). Again, my bottle is from the 2013 release and it applied beautifully.

These beauties are all available now at! Anything fun planned for the weekend? I have to clean out my closet... but I will have the full story about why I have to do that for you tomorrow. It's a fun story!!

Zoya Seashells Collection Summer 2016 Swatches!!

*Sent for review*

Don't worry polish lovers! I've come to liven up your Monday with some Zoya Seashells swatches! For this half of their summer 2016 collection, Zoya brought back the beloved PixieDust formula and I am really glad they did! First up we have the lovely Zoya Cece, a sour apple green PixieDust with hints of golden shimmer. This is a great fresh green for spring and summer. Zoya describes it as "Full impact green, textured PixieDust with a thin vein of gold creating a fizzy lemon-lime effect". Very refreshing!

This is two easy coats of Zoya Cece. Most of these were two coats and wonderfully easy to apply. The draw of the PixieDust line, for me anyways, has always been the ease of application, relatively quick dry time, and the fact that you do not need a top coat. When I am in a huge rush, I grab a PixieDust and apply two fast coats with no base or top coat.

Here is Cece with one layer of Vapid High Shine Quick Dry Top Coat. This was pretty smooth with just one coat, so if you prefer your PixieDusts glossy, it's easy to achieve.

Zoya Bay is a clear sky blue PixieDust with ribbons of gold and silver shimmer. I like that Zoya used both silver and gold shimmer in this. It makes it look icy, but warm at the same time, if that's possible! Bay is described as "Sky blue textured PixieDust with fine silver and gold glitter creating a dreamy effect. Reminiscent of cloud gazing on warm summer days!". I could use some cloud gazing on warm summer days right about now, I am so ready for summer!

This is two easy coats again!

One layer of the Vapid top coat makes this one nice and shiny too! I actually think I might like this one shiny better! It makes the color richer and the shimmer pop.

Zoya Tilly is an interesting polish, and definitely unique. To my eyes, this looks like a silver PixieDust with purple-y grey accents. Zoya says it is "Starry grey textured PixieDust with a small holographic glitter interwoven with a darker gunmetal. Perfect for hot nights out on the town!". This is gorgeous and SO sparkly!!

Broken record here- two effortless coats!

Here's one layer of top coat. You can see the top coat here deepens the color a lot, but I think if you wanted it to be perfectly glossy, you would need a second layer of top coat.

Gold is my most used polish color. I use it as a neutral, so gold PixieDusts are the ultimate slap it on and go polish. Zoya Levi is sure to become my new go to. It's a nice evenly toned gold too, not too warm or yellowy, so I think it will flatter the majority of skin tones. Zoya describes it as "Beige gold textured PixieDust with medium holographic hexes. Designed to update a classic neutral pixie with a little more glam.".

This is the only polish in this collection that I felt I wanted to use a third coat. It was probably OK in two coats, but the third just made it totally opaque and brought out the sparkle. The formula was good and it was still easy to apply, just maybe a tad less opaque.

It's pretty with top coat too!

Zoya Linds is a bright cherry red PixieDust. Zoya says it has "red and fuchsia glitter to mimic the look of maraschino cherries dipped in sugar". It leans on the pinky side of red, rather than a warm red.

This is two coats. The formula was easy to apply, but I feel like it took a lot longer to dry than the others. I waited the same amount of time, but it looks like it wasn't fully dried here in these pictures.

Here is Linds with one layer of top coat.

Drumroll please!!!!! This one is my surprise favorite of the collection!!! I'm surprised because typically the green would be my favorite, but not here. Zoya Zooey is a delicious peach concoction with plentiful golden shimmer and iridescent holo accents. Zoya says this is a "classic pink textured PixieDust laced with a fine thread of gold and medium sized holographic hexes for an added layer of dimension". But I definitely think it is much more peach than just a classic pink. The golden shimmer makes it lean warm and almost coral. So pretty! I am going to wear this one first out of this collection!

You guessed it- two easy coats!! Love this one!!

Here's a shot with top coat. Like some of the others, the colors deepen with top coat. This is definitely more coral/peach pink now than classic pink.

My top picks here are Zooey and Cece. But the whole collection is beautiful and if I were purchasing them, I would most likely get them all. I have gotten a lot of use out of my older PixieDusts and I was very happy to see them come back. Nice one, Zoya!!
