Smitten Polish The First Lobster

 *purchased by me*

I keep trying to swatch a holo polish every sunny day we get. I really am dying to wear a holo soon, but the sun really doesn't stick around long enough. I try not to waste my holos in the winter when I can't fully appreciate their rainbows. Smitten Polish The First Lobster might have to be the first one I wear when it finally stays sunny for a bit. The First Lobster is a gorgeous red linear holo, slightly orange-y red, but definitely a red. Red holos are hard to find and are often of the scattered variety, so this is a rare gem indeed.

The First Lobster has a great formula. This is three thin coats and I had no troubles with dragging or patchiness. The Smitten holo formula is a little thin, but I think that actually makes them easier to apply. They're still easy to control and don't pool around the cuticles.

Keep an eye out on Smitten Polish's Facebook and Big Cartel store for restock info! I'm dying to get my hands on Smitten Shamrock Shake, a minty holo!!
