Happy Thanksgiving!! (A day late)

I know I'm a day late with this, but I couldn't let the holiday pass without me saying Happy Thanksgiving to all of my US readers! I am so thankful for everyone who reads this blog. When I started Never Enough Nails, I honestly did not think I would get this far, so thanks for all the support! Happy Hanukkah to my readers celebrating that special holiday as well.

And I can't resist sharing my Thanksgiving mani, Lynnderella Aunt Amy's Sweet Potato Pie over Sally Hansen Cocoa-a-Go Go.

Lac Attack Amortentia

Lac Attack Amortentia is another beauty from the untrieds drawer. Being a giant Harry Potter nerd, I purchased the entire Magical Musings collection back when it first came out, but I've been slow to post them all. I'll get to them eventually! Amortentia is a pink shimmer base with teeny silver holo glitter and light purple holo hex glitter.

This is four coats of Amortentia. Three coats was almost good enough, just not quite. Next time I probably would layer this over a pink base, but I wanted to see it alone. I really like it alone actually, it might be worth the four coats. Application was good, I didn't have any trouble getting the hex glitter out.

The Magical Musings polishes are mostly out of stock on the Lac Attack site, but I know they will be re-stocked eventually. You can pre-order the whole Magical Musings collection here.

From the Untrieds Drawer: SpaRitual Conglomerate

*Polish purchased with sponsorship funds from*

I'm trying to clean out my untrieds drawer a little bit right now, it's kind of unruly. SpaRitual Conglomerate has been sitting in the drawer from hell for months now. This polish is a really unique grayed out olive green with gold shimmer and black and gray glitter. I definitely can not think of a dupe or even anything similar to this polish, and that makes me really excited! This polish is really gorgeous and looks richer in person.

This is three coats of Conglomerate, but two thicker ones would probably work. The formula was good, I had no problems with application. The glitter came out easily and I didn't do any placement of it, just brushed it on normally.

SpaRitual Conglomerate is still available on, and that's where I got mine (back when Apothica gave me funds to purchase items from their site).

Models Own Golden Green Beetle Juice

I remember when the Models Own Beetlejuice collection came out, I wanted every single one of the duochrome beauties. In reality, I never ordered any of them! I recently got Models Own Golden Green Beetlejuice in a swap and it reminds me that maybe I should check out the others again. Golden Green Beetlejuice is a really pretty gold/green duochrome. It seems to be greener, less golden, than Chanel Peridot and other dupes, but I haven't compared them directly.

This is three coats of Golden Green Beetlejuice and it applied pretty well. The formula was a little thin, but it didn't cause me any problems.

The whole Beetlejuice collection is still available on the Models Own website, but I am not sure where/if these are still available in the US.

Nicole by OPI Modern Family Holiday Part 2!

 *Sent for review*

Today I have the other two shades in the Nicole by OPI Modern Family Holiday collection swatched for you. This gorgeous glowing rust shimmer is Nicole by OPI Who Red My Journal?. Who Red My Journal? has much more of an orange tone to it than we usually see in holiday collection reds. I am always a fan of orange, so this is a plus for me!

This is two coats of Who Red My Journal? and it was nicely pigmented. This one was a winner formula-wise too, very nice.

Finally, we have the real holiday sparkler, Nicole by OPI You're My Treasure. This is an excellent mix of gold glitter, some holo, some not, in diamonds, medium hexes, small hexes and small round shapes. The diamonds are all holo and I think the small hexes are too. Something is besides the diamonds, but there was too much rainbowing going on for me to clearly determine.

You're My Treasure applied really well for a polish this packed with glitter. This is about one and a half dabbed coats over Who Red My Journal?. The half was really just me filling in a few places I had missed. The glitters are came out of the bottle readily and I found it much easier to apply than Spark the Conversation (the silver square glitter from this collection).

You're My Treasure is my obvious favorite of this collection, followed closely by Spark the Conversation. I really like the other shades too and it's nice to see a holiday collection with some different colors.

Limited edition Modern Family Holiday nail lacquer will be available November 2013 for $7.99 each at select CVS locations nationwide. For more information, visit Follow Nicole by OPI on Twitter @NicoleByOPI and become a Facebook fan!

Nicole by OPI Modern Family Holiday, Part 1!

 *Sent for review*

Nicole by OPI has released five new Modern Family polishes for the holidays and I have three of those to show you today. This lovely cornflower blue shimmer is Nicole by OPI Late Blu-mer. In person, this has subtle iridescent glitter flecks that look really pretty in the sunlight. I haven't done a direct comparison yet, but I think Late Blu-mer is darker and richer than OPI Dining Al Frisco, if you were wondering. It's also much less brushstroke-ridden. Dining Al Frisco also lacks those cool iridescent flecks I mentioned.

This is two easy coats of Late Blu-mer. It was very pigmented and has a great consistency. This kind of frosty shimmer can get some brushstrokes, but they weren't too bad in person.

Nicole by OPI Aren't Families Grape? is a pretty cool-toned purple shimmer. It's definitely purple, not blurple, but the undertones are blue rather than red. It's a lovely not too dark purple shimmer.

This is three coats of Aren't Families Grape? and I wished it was a tad more pigmented. I feel like you should be able to do two coats of a color like this and be done with it. The formula was a bit on the thin side, but not hard to apply.

Nicole by OPI Spark the Conversation is a very cool holo silver square glitter polish. This is different from other holo silver glitter I own because every single piece is a little square! Cute, I like this idea a lot. The glitter pieces were nicely holo too.

You will definitely have to dab this polish on, as the base is pretty thick and the glitter doesn't want to go on to the nail that easily. This is two dabbed coats over Nicole by OPI Aren't Families Grape?. The application of this wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't impossible either. If you are a glitter noob, it may be harder for you.

Despite application not being a breeze, Spark the Conversation is still my favorite of these three. I'll have the other two from the collection swatched for you shortly.

Limited edition Modern Family Holiday nail lacquer will be available November 2013 for $7.99 each at select CVS locations nationwide. For more information, visit Follow Nicole by OPI on Twitter @NicoleByOPI and become a Facebook fan!

Lynnderella Spam Vol IV, including my birthday mani!

*Some polishes sent for review. Please see end of post for details*

This edition of Lynnderella spam is extra special because it features my birthday mani, Lynnderella It's Raining Shaman over Illamasqua Load. My birthday was yesterday, but I still have this on right now. This is the first time I'm wearing Shaman, I can't believe how gorgeous it is. I was super excited when it came out because Lynn finally did a core polish with lots of yellow glitter!

This picture below is dark and makes my fingers look lobstery, but I wanted to show that some of the circle glitter is holo, as seen on my pinkie finger.

I wore Lynnderella Ghoul for Love long after Halloween was over. I feel like it's not too specific to Halloween. It's really a gorgeous mix of glitters for any time of year. This is two coats over OPI Houston, We Have a Purple. Ghoul for Love is also core.

This black and yellow treat is Lynnderella Hard Boiled, a LE polish from a few months ago. I am always trying to nab the egg themed Lynns and I was lucky enough to get this from a really amazing friend. This is two coats over OPI Take the Stage.

I liked Lynnderella Bed of Nails so much I actually wore it twice! This is the second time and it's over OPI Suzi's Hungary Again and OPI Call Me Gwen-ever. Bed of Nails is core.

I basically had a heart attack when I saw this LE Lynnderella Witch Fairy? listed on eBay with a Buy It Now instead of an auction. This was my mani on Halloween itself and this is two coats over Fantasy Makers Purple Potion. Witch Fairy? also comes with a bag of extra glitter and that bag contains BLACK CAT GLITTER!!! Glitter in the shape of black cats! I did not use it in this mani, as Purple Potion is so dark they wouldn't have shown up, but don't worry, you'll see those soon!
