The texture trend is still going strong and OPI is riding the wave with their new Bond Girls Collection of 6 Liquid Sand polishes. I am really excited about these Liquid Sands. I loved the texture of the Mariah Carey Liquid Sand polishes, but I like the colors of the Bond Girls Liquid Sands more! First up, I have the drool-worthy OPI Tiffany Case. Tiffany Case is a crazy sparkly medium blue with silver glitter. You may think this resembles OPI Get Your Number, but it really doesn't at all. I will swatch them side by side for you, but Get Your Number is a different shade of blue, is more jelly-like and has holo glitter.

Based on the three Liquid Sands I tried in this post, I would say OPI improved their Liquid Sand formula too. Tiffany Case was totally opaque in two coats (it could be a one coater if you apply a thicker coat) and was lovely to use. I had no problems controlling the polish and it seemed to dry quicker than the first batch Liquid Sands.

Base: one coat CND Stickey
Color: three coats OPI Solitaire
Top: none
Application: good

OMG OPI Solitaire is one of those polishes that is so gorgeous in person but just does not translate to the computer screen! Solitaire is a pale white silver with shiny silver glitter. What you can't see in my picture is how much the shiny silver glitter really sparkles and pops. I always love a pale silver polish, and I can tell you this is my new favorite! This particular shade will be amazing for summer with a tan (the tan part presumably refers to someone else, since I am like Casper the friendly nail polish addict).

I used three coats of Solitaire for these pictures. It was opaque in two, but I sometimes feel like my camera like to make paler colors look sheer. I would wear it at just two coats though. Solitaire was also very easy to use and dried quicker than I remember the Mariah Carey textures drying.

Base: one coat CND Stickey
Color: three coats OPI Pussy Galore
Top: none
Application: good

OPI Pussy Galore is another hard to capture on camera polish. Pussy Galore is a pale cotton candy pink with magenta sparkles. The magenta sparkles were very easy to see and pretty in person, but somehow, they don't appear in pictures. It's not just my pictures either, I checked! If you can check this one out in person, the pretty darker pink shimmer you see in the bottle actually does translate to the nail. The addition of these darker pink sparkles make this one really cool and it's a pink I will wear!

Pussy Galore needed three coats to be completely opaque, but otherwise I liked the formula. None of these Liquid Sands are patchy or tough to work with. They're all nice and smooth and easy to control.

I am loving the Bond Girls collection so far!!! I can't wait to try the other three. I was loving the textured look of these so much, I totally forgot to try them with a coat of shiny top coat, so I will have to do that eventually too!
