Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez Collection is a Breath of Fresh Spring Air!

Base: one coat Zoya Get Even
Color: three coats Nicole by OPI Love Song
Top: one coat Poshe
Application: good (out of poor, average, good, excellent)

I can't believe I am swatching a spring collection so early, but so goes the nail polish world! I needed some bright colors and cheery glitter today anyway. I will be swatching the Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez collection probably three or four polishes at a time. The winter sun does not last long enough for me to be happy with photos of more than about four polishes a day. I always admire Selena Gomez's style, so I was looking forward to this collection and these first four polishes do not disappoint! Nicole by OPI Love Song is a pretty medium purple creme. Not too pale and not too dark, this color is perfect for spring, but also great for year round wear.

This is three coats of Love Song, but it was really opaque in two. I did the third coat to ensure it looked opaque with my fussy camera. Love Song was nice and easy to apply. I think I'll wear this quite a lot. I love this kind of purple!

Color: three coats Nicole by OPI Hit the Lights
Top: one coat Poshe
Application: good (out of poor, average, good, excellent)

Nicole by OPI Hit the Lights is an instant favorite for me. I LOVE a good bright yellow and this one is very bright!! Yellow is such a happy color to wear in the spring when all of the flowers first start peeking out. This is definitely an in your face yellow, not at all pastel or even banana yellow.

Yellows are notoriously streaky, but this one wasn't terrible. This is three coats of Hit the Lights. The first two coats were kind of streaky, but the third one evened it out pretty well. Aside from the streaks in the first two coats, the application was good.

Application: excellent (out of poor, average, good, excellent)

GO BUY YOURSELF A BOTTLE (or 7) OF NICOLE BY OPI CONFETTI FUN ASAP!!!! I'm serious, if you like any of the other "rainbow glitters in a clear base" polishes, you NEED this!! This is my favorite of the rainbow glitters! Unlike other polishes of this type, Confetti Fun has various sizes of rainbow glitter in a shimmering base. The sparkly base makes the whole polish so much cooler. The Polishaholic has comparison pictures of OPI Rainbow Connection and NOPI Confetti Fun, if you'd like to see the difference yourself! Being a lover of rainbow glitter, I am glad I own both, but if I only had to pick one, I'd go with NOPI Confetti Fun.

These pictures are all only one coat of Confetti Fun! It applied like a dream, coating my nails in rainbow goodness with hardly any effort. Below you can see Confetti Fun over Nicole by OPI Pretty in Plum.

Base: one coat Zoya Get Even
Color: two coats Nicole by OPI Pretty in Plum
Top: one coat Poshe
Application: good (out of poor, average, good, excellent)

Nicole by OPI Pretty in Plum is the red-purple shimmer I have been searching for for ages!!! I keep trying to buy a polish like this, but I end up with a purple that is too blue-leaning, too pink, too dark or too whatever. I'm so happy that my search for the perfect red-purple shimmer is over and I can enjoy wearing Pretty in Plum whenever I want!

This is two coats of Pretty in Plum and it was nice and opaque. It was easy to control and had no formula problems at all. I can't wait to wear this on my toes! Purples always look too dark on my toes, but I have a feeling this one won't!

Overall I love these four polishes. Love Song probably has dupes, but it's a color that I do like to wear frequently. I can always use a bright yellow that is even in three coats and I've been looking for a good red-purple shimmer. And Confetti Fun... OMG so fun!!! I hope I love the other 10 polishes in this collection as much as I love these babies! There are several nice looking glitters, so it's highly likely :).
