Part Two of OPI Spring 2012 Holland Collection!

Connecticut is continuing to have weird spring-like weather, and I'm continuing on today with part two of my OPI Holland swatches!! If you missed Part One, please check it out here. Let's kick this post off with a lovely purple chock full of golden shimmer, OPI Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI?. Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI? is a beautiful shade of purple, and being a lover of golden shimmer, I love this color a lot. If this color is looking familiar to you, you may be thinking of Zoya Tru, also new for spring 2012.

I used three coats of OPI Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI? in these pictures. There were a few random streaks at two coats, so I wanted the third to smooth it out. I think if you waited the first coat to dry completely, you wouldn't have the streaking problem (more on that in a minute), and the polish is opaque enough in two coats.

Next up is OPI A Roll in the Hague, one of my most anticipated polishes from this collection. I LOVE orange polish and am always looking for new ones, so I was definitely excited about this one. A Roll in the Hague did not disappoint. It is a really really bright red-based orange that is not neon, but still super bright and fun. It's also nice and glossy looking alone for those of you who hate top coat (although these pictures were taken with top coat).

The formula of A Roll in the Hague was like the formula of the cremes in part one, just lovely! Smooth application and fully opaque in two coats. I can't believe I'm loving the cremes in this collection so much! I'm usually such a creme hater.

I was also really looking forward to OPI Vampsterdam. Vampsterdam is a kind of frosty deep purple, very vampy! Scrangie noted that it looks like something OPI would have done a long time ago, and I think that's why I like it a lot. It looks like an older OPI to me. I never mind/sometimes really like frost finishes, I know some people really hate them though.

Vampsterdam showed some signs of wanting to be a little streaky (like Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI?), so I decided to let it dry completely in between coats. It applied pretty smoothly after that, so it just needs a little more patience than the cremes. This was three coats.

OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know? is a GORGEOUS chocolate brown with tons of gold shimmer. This is exactly how I like my chocolate brown polishes! So pretty!! It reminds me a bit of an older FAVORITE OPI of mine, Route Beer Float. Route Beer Float is much paler, like a light milk chocolate, while Wooden Shoe Like To Know? is rich and extra tasty.

Yum, now I want chocolate!!! I decided to let this polish dry in between coats as well, so the finish was lovely and even. This is three coats, but I could have done two slightly thicker ones. My first coat was very thin. This is so gorgeous, especially in the sun!!

Part Two of my OPI Holland swatches contains some serious winners for me. I LOVE A Roll in the Hague and Wooden Shoe Like To Know?. I really like Vampsterdam a lot as well and the beautiful Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI? is perfect for spring as well.
