OPI Muppets Part III!!

Today I have the third and final part of the OPI Muppets collection, featuring two lovely reds and two unique metallic polishes. Animal-istic has been garnering a lot of attention on the nail blogs and I definitely see why. Animal-istic is a really bright red that reminds me of Maraschino cherries. It has a glass-fleck finish that I really love. Although I'm sure I own another red (or three) like this, I am a sucker for this particular shade and finish, so I love it!!

Animal-istic only needs two coats to be opaque and it applied very smoothly. I can see myself possibly needing a third coat when my nails are longer, but if you have short nails, I think you'll be happy with two.

Wocka Wocka was described in promotional information as a "deep berry", but it looks like a bright berry red shimmer on me. Based on the promo pictures, I thought this would be kind of a deep wine color, but as you can see, it is not! I like this one a lot, it was very BOLD looking when I put it on. I think I'll wear it pretty often on my toes. Wocka Wocka dried a bit lighter than bottle color as well.

This is two coats of Wocka Wocka. I think a third might get this a little closer to the slightly darker bottle color, but either way it's a gorgeous, eye-catching polish. On pale skin, this is a really bold red, and I think it would be super flattering on dark skin too. The formula was good, I noticed that the first coat wasn't too even, but the second coat smoothed it right out.

I have been dying to try Warm and Fozzie since I heard about this collection! Warm and Fozzie is a delicious dark bronze foil mixed with some gold and pink particles. It is kind of like Pros and Bronze's older, darker, wintery sister. Like Pros and Bronze, you can see all of the individual particles that make up this polish. It's a really cool finish and I hope OPI keeps using it in future collections.

Warm and Fozzie was a little more sheer than some polishes in this collection, but it still only needed three coats for full opacity. It's well worth it, in my opinion!!! I love this polish, I think it is my overall second favorite of this collection. The formula was easy to work with, no bare spots to be found.

And so we have arrived at the last, but definitely not least, Designer... De Better! Designer... De Better! is my overall, number 1 favorite in this collection. It's a gorgeous platinum silver foil with really cool and unique copper particles mixed throughout the polish. The copper pieces add so much to this polish. I am a great lover of silver polish and I own many many bottles of it, but this one is totally unique. The copper bits were hard to capture today with all of the clouds in the sky, so I may retake this pictures on a sunnier day.

Like Warm and Fozzie, Designer... De Better! was a little more sheer and needed three coats to be opaque. But again, it was well worth it, and I am obsessed with this polish!! The formula was great again. Sometimes I find foils hard to work with and they sometimes leave bare spots, but not this one!!

Overall, I LOVE the OPI Muppets Holiday collection. I liked it much better than last year's Burlesque collection. Despite the glitters, I never really loved that one for some reason. If you like glitter, my Must Haves from this collection are: Gone Gonzo, Rainbow Connection, Excuse Moi!, Designer...De Better! and Warm and Fozzie. If you hate glitter, I recommend Designer.. De Better! and Warm and Fozzie, which will bring some sparkle to your holidays without using glitter. Which ones do you plan to get?

The OPI Muppets collection is available now at professional salons, including Ulta, Beauty Brands, and Trade Secret.

These polishes were sent to me for review by a PR agent for OPI. For more information, please see my Disclosure Policy.

Definitely pick up Designer...De Better! and Warm and Fozzie, they are awesome!!
I have a Canon G12 camera and I use the C2 setting. This is not a completely manual setting, but not auto either. The camera itself is very good just on auto. I use the macro setting to get very sharp close-ups, and then I crop them in a bit further for the super close shots.
