Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors Part One!!!

No matter what your opinion on the Kardashians may be, I believe the Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors collection probably has something to catch your attention. Personally, I do not watch reality shows of any kind, nor do I obsess over celebrities, so I don't really pay attention to the Kardashian antics. I do know that Khloe and Kim are very pretty and have really good make-up looks from time to time. I also know that this nail polish collection rocks, so I'm glad they collaborated with Nicole by OPI. This large 14-piece collection has everything from full-coverage glitters to the palest pink creme. So put your opinions aside and enjoy the swatches of half of this collection!!

This blue jelly stunner packed with blue, purple and green glitter is called Kendall on the Katwalk. This is definitely a full-coverage glitter, as it was nicely opaque in just two coats. The blue jelly base is pigmented enough that you don't have to use tons of coats, but it's jelly enough that you can see all of the glitter. The addition of purple and green glitters to this polish really make it something special. There was no sun the day I took these pictures, but that green glitter is super sparkly in person! It really stands out.

Kendall on the Katwalk is a very user-friendly glitter. It was opaque in two coats, maybe three if you have longer nails. It applied evenly and easily. If you're feeling lazy, it applied evenly enough to wear with just one coat. It's kind of a cool look, if you don't mind VNL. For some reason, this wasn't even very difficult to remove. All in all, a new favorite glitter of mine!

Disco Dolls is another full-coverage glitter. Nicole by OPI seems to be excelling at full-coverage glitters lately (Holiday Glitters, anyone??). Disco Dolls is a fine warm gold glitter with larger multi-colored glitter pieces scattered throughout the polish. The larger pieces are green, purple, gold, and blue. This reminds me of Mardi Gras for some reason. I think it's the gold, green and purple combo. I really love it though, and despite my large collection of gold glitters, I don't own anything like it.

Like Kendall on the Katwalk, Disco Dolls was easy to apply and opaque in two coats. The gold glitter is very fine, almost like sugar, so it covers completely. Again, there was no sun, but this is sparkly glitter, not the dull kind. I tried to blur the picture below so you could see the shine.

All Kendall-ed Up is a gorgeous blue-pink creme. It's really bright and pretty, possibly not the most unique in the collection, but definitely a great polish to own. I will be rocking this on my toes quite often. I don't wear pink on my fingers very often, but I do love a bright pink creme for toes.

This is just two coats of All Kendall-ed Up and I was really impressed with the formula. It was super smooth and opaque (as you can see). Just perfect application!!

I probably own a hundred bright coral reds like Kourt is Red-y For a Pedi, but this is a bright coral red JELLY!!! How awesome is this??? I can't contain myself about this color. It's near neon in terms of brightness and it looks so squishy. I fall for these kinds of colors so hard. Can't wait to wear this one!!

The formula on Kourt Is Red-y For a Pedi was very good too. This is two coats, with some VNL, but it is a jelly, so I didn't bother with a third coat. I like how it looks here. Yummy, I want to eat it.

Hard Kourt Fashionista is a pretty dark chocolate brown creme. This is a really super shiny chocolate brown and the color is very rich. Again, I have several deep chocolate browns, but they are always pretty!

Oddly enough, I had to use three coats for an even finish here. This surprised me after needing only two coats of the lighter colors. It wasn't really the tips that were see-through, it was the sides. So it may have even been my application at fault here. The formula was easy enough to work with, just the oddity of having to use three coats was annoying.

I've really been looking forward to Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam for awhile now. I feel like I'm always looking for this color, but all of the ones I own are too dark and black-looking, too light and green looking, or too dusty. Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam is the perfect deep peacock teal creme for me. I really love it on my skin tone too!

I did have to use three coats of this beauty for evenness, like Hard Kourt Fashionista. I don't really mind because it's so pretty and it is the exact shade I've been looking for! The first two coats were a little uneven, but the third smoothed it all out nicely.

Finally we have another full-coverage glitter, Wear Something Spar-Kylie. Wear Something Spar-Kylie is a pink jelly base filled with pink and silver glitter. This is the same sugar-fine glitter that is in Disco Dolls. It makes it very easy to cover the nail completely and evenly.

This is three coats of Wear Something Spar-Kylie, but I probably would wear just two. This was super easy to apply and had a lovely formula. I really love these glitters that Nicole by OPI is doing. They are the best glitters in terms of application.

Overall, the glitters, Kourt Is Red-y For a Pedi and All Kendall-ed Up have perfect formulas. They were a delight to use and really pretty as well!! The two darker colors didn't necessarily have bad formulas, they just required an extra coat for even coverage. I am excited to try the other half of the collection, which I will hopefully have for you on Friday!

In other news, Happy Thanksgiving!!! What are your plans?? I'm going to my aunt's for dinner and plan to eat everything in sight.
