Another Shatter NOTD- Tell Me if You're Sick of These!!!

Seriously, you need to tell me if you're getting tired of Shatter looks, because I just can't stop!!! I guess if you're going to be addicted to something, Shatter is probably a pretty OK addiction. It's not really bad for your health or safety in any way. Today I'm sporting OPI White Shatter over Zoya Dannii from the Spring 2011 Intimate collection (an amazing collection, I'm still not over it's greatness).

my favorite nail

I always end up with a favorite nail when I use shatter/crackle polish. Am I the only one, or does that happen to you too? Anyway, my middle nail on my left hand was my favorite this time. I love that giant crack down the middle and the cool zig-zaggy one near the cuticle end of the nail. Shattering just provides me with endless excitement. I have a never-ending collection of shatter and nail color combinations in my head right now. I'm enjoying this combo too much to take it off though. But next I think I'd like to try OPI Silver Shatter and Zoya Gemma from the Intimate collection. Wouldn't that be cool? Or OPI Red Shatter and Zoya Tanzy from the Summer 2011 collection!! Any Shatter combos that you would like to see? Let me know, I take requests!

OPI White Shatter and Zoya Dannii were both sent to me for review by PR agents of OPI and Zoya. For more information, please see my Disclosure Policy.

Blogsale Page

Hi all, I finally got my Blogsale page posted up today. You can check it out here.
Let me know if you have any questions about anything on there. I will be posting many more polishes shortly. I am currently going through my whole collection and ditching a lot of polish. I don't have enough storage to keep it all :( and am getting a bit tired of having bottles of polish ALL over the house. Happy shopping!

Comparisons- OPI v.s. China Glaze and Zoya

left to right: Zoya Faye, OPI Rally Pretty Pink, OPI Spark de Triomphe, China Glaze Medallion

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!!! In today's post, I FINALLY have two of the comparisons I promised you awhile back. OPI Rally Pretty Pink next to Zoya Faye and OPI Spark de Triomphe next to China Glaze Medallion. One comparison will save you some cash, the other probably won't!

Let's start with OPI Rally Pretty Pink and Zoya Faye.

That's Zoya Faye on the left and OPI Rally Pretty Pink on the right. As you can see, they are very similar. Normal human beings would not be able to tell them apart (my mom couldn't). OPI Rally Pretty Pink is slightly more pink to Zoya's slightly more purple. OPI Rally Pretty Pink also has more dense gold shimmer. I did two coats of OPI Rally Pretty Pink and three of Zoya Faye (although I most likely did not need the third). I personally don't see a real need for you to own both of these. Unless you love them so much that you want two bottles of nearly the same polish (if this is the case, don't feel bad, I am definitely keeping both of these, LOL).

Next up, OPI Spark de Triomphe and China Glaze Medallion.

This is OPI Spark de Triomphe on the left and China Glaze Medallion on the right. Spark de Triomphe is more silver than gold, kind of a white gold really. Medallion is a true yellow gold. The glitter sizes are different, and Medallion contains large holo pieces of glitter, while Spark has no holo glitter.

In my opinion, these are nothing alike and you should own both LOL. I have been a Medallion fanatic since it was first released. EK (former co-author of Never Enough Nails) is on her second bottle of Medallion and quite near ready for a third. I also absolutely ADORE Spark de Triomphe. It is gorgeous alone, or under it's White Shatter companion. If you are a glitter lover, you will want both of these beauties!

So, do you have any big plans for the holiday? I had a five hour dance practice yesterday, so I'm resting up today. Tomorrow we're going to have a BBQ with just myself, my parents, my uncle (a veteran!), and probably my boyfriend. Just relaxing and kicking off the warm weather!

Rescue Beauty Lounge Look Rich, Be Cheap!

Many of you may know that Rescue Beauty Lounge had a recent Bring It Back vote featuring their beloved Scrangie and Locavore, among other polishes. In case you don't know, the Bring It Back votes allows fans of RBL (the die hards call themselves ReBeLs) to vote on three sold out polishes they would like to bring back. I personally voted for Locavore, and was delighted when it won. So delighted, in fact, that I purchased Look Rich, Be Cheap, a polish that was released with Locavore.

Look Rich, Be Cheap is a gorgeously sparkling full-coverage mixture of gold and purple glitter pieces. The pieces are all one size, but the mixture of the two colors is really magical. Sometimes the gold looks a little golden green too, it's just so pretty! I was really mesmerized by this polish and seriously just can't wait to wear it again.

If you notice, I took several pictures on weird angles. This is because the direct front facing pictures make the glitter in this polish look less dense than it really is. Just a trick of the macro setting, I guess. But you can see from the angled pictures that this is packed full of glitter. I could not see any part of my nail showing through with three coats.

In short, I'm not sure why I waited so long to buy this polish. I should have ordered all three of the glitters in this collection when they first came out. Lucky for me, I will be purchasing Locavore when it comes back. I do wish Frugalista would make it into a Bring It Back vote, but we'll see.

Rescue Beauty Lounge polishes are available online at Rescue Beauty.

Don't forget my giveaway of Cult Nails Captivated!!

One for Me, One for You- Cult Nails Captivated!

If you haven't heard of Cult Nails by now, I'd say you're really missing out. Cult Nails was started by fellow polish blogger Maria of R3 Daily. I think this is amazing for a few reasons. 1. I LOVE to see people following their dreams. 2. I also LOVE to see bloggers become bigger than their blog (i.e. start their own brand, collaborate with a huge, existing brand, etc.). 3. She has incredible ideas for polish!! Let's talk about Captivated, from her recent Day At The Races collection.

Captivated is a coral-pink jelly polish PACKED with gorgeous rainbow-y glitter. This polish is incredibly unique and I absolutely do not own a single thing like it. There are at least two sizes of glitter in this polish, a very fine holo glitter and the larger iridescent pieces that flash golden colors in certain lights. Captivated is super sparkly both indoors and out. It is quite the distracting polish!! Don't wear it if you need to concentrate LOL.

Being that Captivated is a jelly, there is supposed to be some VNL. But it is that lovely translucent squishy quality of a jelly that make the VNL acceptable, even enjoyable. This is three coats of glittery goodness. The polish is a bit on the thick side, but that actually made it easier to apply. You could precisely control where the polish was going/not going. Application was supper easy. I have been wearing this since Tuesday and it looks perfect, but I will report back in a few days on the wear time. I hear Cult Nails has excellent wear time.

I am basically obsessing over this polish. I'd love a cobalt blue jelly version of this. Cobalt blue jelly with the same kind of glitter? That would be magic!!! What do you think Maria??

Wanna hear the best part of this post?? When I ordered my bottle of Captivated, I ordered one for one lucky Never Enough Nails reader!!!! Here it is, waiting for you to win it!

Upcoming OPI Collection Info!

I'm working on a real post right now, but while you wait, check out what OPI has in store for us!

First- The Nice Stems! collection. I already posted the preview for this collection awhile ago, but I wanted to remind you about it. I know everyone is going to want I Lily Love You, so save those pennies! Nice Stems! will be available starting in June.

Play the Peonies
I Lily Love You
Come to Poppy
Be a Dahlia Won't You?

OPI is also releasing another Serena Williams Glam Slam! set, this time in honor of the Wimbledon tournament in England. These will be the first Glam Slam! duos to feature a glitter top coat instead of shatter. The first duo includes

Your Royal Shine-ness (metallic silver)
and
Servin' Up Sparkle (a shimmer-packed silver glitter)

The second duo also includes Servin' Up Sparkle and

Grape Set Match (a metallic purple)

These Glam Slam! sets will also be released in June. I am really looking forward to these! That purple looks amazing, and you know I love me some glitter. I am also a huge fan of silver polish and I'll probably never own too many of them.

I also got some information about a new Nicole by OPI collection of crackle/shatter polishes, called Texture Coat. For those of you who have been having difficulty getting the OPI shatters, these might be easier to find and have some of the same colors that you might be looking for!

White Texture
Turquoise Texture
Silver Texture
Red Texture
Gold Texture
Black Texture

These will be available in July. I'm thinking I'll pick up a Silver Texture and see if it's close to my beloved Silver Shatter!

What do you think about these upcoming collections?

Full coverage nude creams are always lovely. I love a good nude. I do hate when they are sheer and leave VNL, so I'm glad to see these will be full coverage. What do you think? Will you check any of these out? They all interest me, but Shay sounds extra pretty to me!

These will be available online at Zoya on June 1.
