Still Addicted: China Glaze Cracked Concrete over China Glaze Lemon Fizz

I have another China Glaze Crackle combination to show you today, as well as yet another application technique for the crackles! Gray and pale yellow is one of my favorite color combinations for clothing and even interior design, so I knew I had to try it out with China Glaze Cracked Concrete.

All of these pictures show two coats of China Glaze Lemon Fizz (from the Spring 2010 Up and Away Collection) under one coat of China Glaze Cracked Concrete. I know you are all familiar with my blobbing technique, but today I bring you The Blob and Drag. To create this look, I blobbed the polish on and then quickly dragged it a short distance. So to complete a nail, I started at the bottom left of the nail, did the blob and drag three times up to the top left, then I did three blob and drags in the middle section, and three more on the right. Does this description make sense? LOL. I think you can almost see where I placed the brush on my pointer finger in these pictures.

I just wanted to include the above picture of my right-hand pinkie, because I thought it came out cool. This was done with regular blobbing, not blob and drag. LOL, listen to me right now... Blobbing? Blob and Drag? Seriously... these crackle polishes have me talking crazy!

I seriously love this color combination, perhaps more so than the silver and Crushed Candy I did before! I am basically just going to wear Crackles for the rest of my life over every polish I own. LOVE. What do you think of the crackle trend? I do understand that it isn't for everyone, I am a big fan though. Let me know your thoughts!

China Glaze Crackles may be available at a Sally Beauty near you, but I understand they're becoming hard to locate. So, lookie here! I just found a bunch for you on Amazon.com!
